Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a very clean 1999 Pontiac Montana van. I would rate the exterior condition of this Montana to be in ABOVE AVERAGE condition. As you can see, this is a great looking van. The two tone exterior shows very well. There are no major scratches or body damage to mention. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The alloy wheels look great and are wrapped in good rubber all around. Please check out the photos to see how clean this van is. I would rate the interior condition of this van to also be in ABOVE AVERAGE condition. It is obvious that someone took great care of this van. As you open the door, you are immediately greeted by a very clean interior featuring nice leather seats and loads of features and options. The carpets and headliner are clean throughout. The leather seats show very well. The power windows, locks, seat and mirrors all work properly. This van features dual sliding doors. This van is set up with four captains chairs and a rear bench which is very desirable. The climate control system appears to be working properly and offers rear heating and air conditioning for comfort throughout the cabin. The stereo is the original premium sound system with cassette and CD. There are steering wheel controls for the audio and rear audio controls. The original remote entry system is working properly. The original owners book is included. I personally prefer the long wheelbase model like this. Buying a short wheelbase van seems dumb to me. Mechanically, this van appears to be in good running condition. The 3.4L V6 engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I've had this van for a long time. I've put several hundred miles on it and then the head gasket blew on me. Since then, I've had both head gaskets replaced and replaced the radiator as well. I put the time and money into fixing this the right way...so the new owner of this van can look forward to years of trouble-free driving. The 3.1L and 3.4L engines are known for head gasket failures. If you're considering a vehicle with one of these engines, you should be aware of this issue. The engine runs smoothly. The engine does not smoke and I did not see any leaks. The brakes, suspension and steering all feel great. The engine keeps a nice temperature and there have been no warning lights on.
