The title shows the car to have 78,000 actual miles when last titled in 2007. This is a nice running and driving 1970 Chevelle Malibu convertible that I used last year and enjoyed. I purchased this car after it was sold in an estate of a 48 year old man who died on Christmas day 2 years ago. The car was sold by his elderly mother. Her son died while walking his dog on Christmas day in 2010. He was a bodyman who wasn’t able to finish his dream car !! He had put on 2 New rear quarter panels earlier in ownership and I put on 2 New front fenders and a New cowl hood. It has a Working cowl hood. The car was painted last year a base-coat clear then sanded and buffed to a nice deep shine. Two New rear bumpers were installed along with some other misc chrome like new door handles, wheel opening moldings, left outside mirror, and other misc items.. The rear bumper has an SS pad on it but the car is not an ss. The inside also shows very nice. I had a new front seat cover put on it along with a new carpet. The convertible top isn’t new but shows very nice with No rips or tears. It also has the boot for when the top is down. The frame is very nice and solid. The floors feel strong but were patched at some point. A few replacement pans could be installed if you are fussy but isn’t necessary. The trunk floor shows very nice. The motor is a small V8 2bbl. with a 3 speed automatic. It also has Power steering and front power disc brakes. I’m told it is not a numbers matching car. The car has a working power convertible top and a good working heater, emergency brake, wipers, the stereo turns on but doesn’t play. All in All this is just a beautiful driving old chevelle convertible. It has a real nice sounding and running motor and trans. It stears like a dream going down the road. The car is a real pleasure to drive !! I drove the car on a transport plate so I never registered it. I have a clear mass. Title from the last owner along with the court documents and death certificate showing his mother as the executor. It is a clear title free of leins ready to get plates. Not a show car but could be one depending on the level car you desire. A 300. paypal deposit due at auction end. Please be sure that works for you before bidding. I HAVE A PARTIAL “BUILD SHEET” THAT CAME WITH THE CAR. Please feel free to bring your mechanic and inspect the car to be sure it meets all your expectations. This description is mearly my opinion.
