2005 Black Chevy Truck For Sale. Truck is being sold AS IS with NO WARRANTY and NO REFUND as I am going to be honest as I possibly can with the information that I know and you are more than welcome to email for additional details. I was financing this truck for a friend who failed to insure the truck and was involved in a collison in early 2011. He hit the rear end of a larger truck (2500) and smashed the front of this truck. I am uncertain as to the amount of damage other than crinkling the front end. The truck was repaired at a private shop and DOES run. There is a belt or something that squeals when starting and idleing. Doesn't seem to be a real big deal, just annoying. The truck drives fine. Radio/AC/Heat all work. There is NO airbag.!!! The truck is hard to shift to the next gear on occasion. I am told that the truck has frame damage; however, I had my husband look and we have not been able to locate any but are sure it must have something because the truck bed does not line up with the truck cab. However, with that being said, the boy wrecked the truck has been driving it every day since it has been fixed (until I repo'ed it for non-payment that is). I will not say that the truck is mechanically sound and I certainly can't say that it is 100% safe due to the lack of airbag and possible bent frame, thus is being offered for sale AS IS with the knowledge and understanding that the truck does run but that it will require work. I am, again, uncertain, of the damage and may be over-exaggerating but I want the buyer to understand there are issues. The windshield was not replaced and is still cracked on the drivers side. The body of the truck seems to be flawless without dents but the paint has rough spots as the boy never took the truck back to the paint shop for final sanding and completion of work. There are, of course, scratches in the truck bed just as with any work truck. The inside of the truck is in good shape. No rips or tears in the seats or carpet that I noticed. No smoke odors. The headliner does come loose from the driver side door area. If you have any questions or need any additional photos please don't hesitate to email. The VIN will reflect a clear title as the truck was not insured and was repaired at a professional body shop but the truck HAS BEEN WRECKED and has NO AIRBAG. The truck was repossed on Feb 25th and has only been sitting since that time.
