PLEASE REVIEW ALL MATERIAL AS PHOTO'S DO DESCRIBE THE CONDITION OF THIS ITEM! -Dealer added 1950's Commander V-8 232, rebuilt I have receipts for motor & (2004-05) many parts he bought-Has hydraulic conversion kit-Orig manual trans-Non running at the moment but someone has done a lot of work-New heater box-New heater & vent fan-Good glass, drivers side needs attention to get it to roll up perfectly, small crack in drivers windwing-We can manually turn the motor over but have never finished it to get it running, it needs a fuel pump, battery, and someone to go thru it and make sure it has everything.-Rust free body, it has signs of repairs in it's past, nothing major, no replaced panels or anything-New interior was put in this car and it could use someone that knows how to button that up, like where the headliner meets the windshield-Interior is NOT dried out or anything and very usable-I have some parts in the trunk area for this car see pics-Couple spare wheels, original pistons, air cleaner, window regulator parts etc-Car was painted but it's not in great condition, it will need new paint-Tires hold air but will need to be replaced-No key for this car-Drivers door catches on the front fender see pics-This is a project, but has had lots of stuff done to it that makes it closer than a complete redo-Clean Clear title-I can help with local shipping-Willing to ship world wide I wish I knew more about this car. I can tell that the motor was rebuilt by a machine shop in Sedona Arizona. It doesn't appear that the trans or the rearend were gone thru tho. I can answer the obvious questions, I wish I knew more about Studebaker then I might keep it and finish it. But the labor for something like this is just too high. A Champion beat out all regular-sized cars, averaging 27.82 mpg, while a Commander V-8 came in second with 25.60 mpg. Whatever criticisms could be leveled at the 1952 Studebakers related to congenital weaknesses that had been part of the design since 1947: hazardous rear-hinged rear doors on sedans, a long-reach dashboard, a dash-mounted rear-view mirror that was dysfunctional with three passengers in the front seat, and brakes that were deficient when teamed with the V-8 (although they were self-adjusting). But any summation of the 1952 Studebaker has to be a positive one. -Dealer added 1950's Commander V-8 232, rebuilt I have receipts for motor & (2004-05) many parts he bought
-Has hydraulic conversion kit
-Orig manual trans
-Non running at the moment but someone has done a lot of work
-New heater box
-New heater & vent fan
-Good glass, drivers side needs attention to get it to roll up perfectly, small crack in drivers windwing
-We can manually turn the motor over but have never finished it to get it running, it needs a fuel pump, battery, and someone to go thru it and make sure it has everything.
-Rust free body, it has signs of repairs in it's past, nothing major, no replaced panels or anything
-New interior was put in this car and it could use someone that knows how to button that up, like where the headliner meets the windshield
-Interior is NOT dried out or anything and very usable
-I have some parts in the trunk area for this car see pics
-Couple spare wheels, original pistons, air cleaner, window regulator parts etc
-Car was painted but it's not in great condition, it will need new paint
-Tires hold air but will need to be replaced

I wish I knew more about this car. I can tell that the motor was rebuilt by a machine shop in Sedona Arizona. It doesn't appear that the trans or the rearend were gone thru tho. I can answer the obvious questions, I wish I knew more about Studebaker then I might keep it and finish it. But the labor for something like this is just too high. Off the web about the 232 V-8; In 1952, the Economy Run traveled from Los Angeles to Sun Valley, Idaho. A Champion beat out all regular-sized cars, averaging 27.82 mpg, while a Commander V-8 came in second with 25.60 mpg.
Whatever criticisms could be leveled at the 1952 Studebakers related to congenital weaknesses that had been part of the design since 1947: hazardous rear-hinged rear doors on sedans, a long-reach dashboard, a dash-mounted rear-view mirror that was dysfunctional with three passengers in the front seat, and brakes that were deficient when teamed with the V-8 (although they were self-adjusting).
But any summation of the 1952 Studebaker has to be a positive one. You could still buy a V-8 Commander for little more than $2,000: The old company, as Clem Studebaker had admonished it in 1852, was still delivering a little more than it promised.
