Vehicle Detail

**1984 C4 Chevy Corvette w/ 5.7 liter Crossfire Injection V8** Added rear decklid/ window conversion, original targa top & back glass, Center Line racing rims, clear title w/ manual, Runs But Needs TLC or Parts Car.... (I will do my best to give you an accurate description on this car & relay all of the information you need so you will know what u r buying) Buyer will have to make a deposit to my paypal account of 250.00 immediately after auction ending. Buyer must arrange pick-up and provide payment in full within seven days of auction ending. I prefer cash, check, or money order as i do not want to deal with the fees that Paypal will accrue on the sale of this car. This car needs alot of TLC. However, it does crank and run but very erratic. Has many extras. Can be restored, needs an overhauling or could be a nice parts car. Car cannot be driven, so buyer will need to pick up car with trailer, car hauler, etc. Car is moveable.... Serious Bidders Only....As-Is Auction So Bid Accordingly...Please, feel free to ask any questions before bidding and I will be available.... The Body The fiber glass body needs new paint job....as you can see in the pictures....the paint is bubbling and cracking in several spots, discoloration on targa top and rear decklid. The decklid is an added accessory and gives the car an almost convertible look (very expensive acc.). Their is some warping behind gas lid on back end. Hood opens and closes fine. Driver side door is sometimes hard to get open, but closes fine. Passenger side door opens and closes fine. Targa top is easy to mount and dismount. The targa top fits into two slots located behind the seats for easy storage. Engine & Specs, Transmission Contains L-83 5.7 Liter Crossfire Injection V8 350 Cubic Inches 205 Horse Power 290 Torque Ft. LBS. 9:1 Comp. Ratio Brand New Radiator, new battery, new alternator, fairly new starter, new valve cover seals, new serpentine belt, new spark plugs, new O2 sensor, fairly new plug wires & distributor cap, fairly new smog pump, Cranks good....Idling is rough....when driving it spits, sputters, backfires, cuts out...could be a fuel problem (not quite sure) new fuel pump was installed in 2002 or could be something simple as a sensor. Needs a new water pump, bearings have gone out in it, leaks water excessively out of the weep holes....makes slight racketing sound while engine is running...I haven't had the time to put a new one on, but looks fairly easy to get to...checked with Advanced Auto Parts and would cost $49.99 (no core) to get a new one. Does not use hardly any oil after replacing valve cover seals. Has had a new oil change in the past 6 months, oil is clear. Transmission oil level is good, but haven't changed it in a while. Gears shift in and out fine. No problems with the transmission. Tires & Rims Tires are 255/50Z R16 Kumho Ecsta Supra and are all a little dry rotted, but all hold air good. The front two tires have low tread and the back two tires have medium tread. Rims are polished aluminum 16'' Center Line Racing Wheels with a versatile ten lug pattern and are in good condition. Exhaust No exhaust tips or mufflers.....so car is loud and erratic....maybe some exhaust leakage Electrical (Needs major electrical overhauling) The control fan does work if hot wired directly to a battery, but will not automatcally come on if engine gets above a certain temperature. I did notice that the wire leading to the temperature control switch is undone. Has the aftermarket speedometer display.....however, the speedometer and rpm display don't light up, while the middle display that lights up the oil pressure, coolant temp, voltage, fuel gauge, etc. does light up....and also the control panel that allows you to switch these settings works. Power door locks work for either door...but driver side door is hard to get open sometimes.... Air conditioner & heater does not work, the fan works but does not blow cold or hot air....the control panel for the air & heat work.... Driver's side power seat works, front, back, up and down.... Power mirrors do not work.... Power windows both work. The driver's side power window is weak and slower..... Windshield wipers do work, but not very good.... Passenger side power headlamp lights up and rolls over fine, but Driver's side headlamp lights up and does not roll over... Brake lights work, turn signals do not..... Interior light work..... Sound System Pioneer 45wx4 cd player, 2 pioneer 6x9 speakers mounted in back....that display good sound.... Their are also two memphis 10'' subwoofers mounted face down in a custom box behind the seats w/memphis 250 watt amp....not sure if they work but all the wires and hookups are their.... Interior Leather seats needs to be upholstered... Carpet is gray and discolored, could use new carpet... Dash board is in great shape with no cracks or sun damage... Has a new black leather center console.... Door panels are in good shape... Large console panel surrounding gear shifter is in good shape, no cracks Air conditioning vents work properly and have no cracks.... Steering & Brakes Power steering reservoir has a slow leak, not sure if a line is busted or reservoir itself is cracked....so power steering fluid has to be added occasionally. Steering and handling is good...no whining (unless low on fluid). New rear brake pads were installed about 6 months ago, but front brake pads have no life and need to be changed.... Windows & Seals Front windshield is cracked.... Power windows are fine... Decklid window is fine... Rear-view mirrors are all fine.... The original high tempered back glass is fine with no cracks and in great shape....and can be easily installed... Seals around windows need to be replaced (dry rotted)....does leak in some areas Good luck bidding!
