2002 FORD MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE ~ V6 / 3.8 Liter AT 103,500 MILES ~GOOD CONDITION Today we are offering this 2002 Ford Mustang Convertible. This is my husbands personal vehicle and he is still driving it, will be until it sells. He has a truck that he wants to get titled and on the road so we really do not need the Mustang any longer and we really need the money, that is why it is being sold. Now read below for details on the Mustang. 2002 Ford Mustang Convertible, V6 3.8 Liter engine, Automatic transmission, power windows, power locks, power driver seat, driver & passenger airbags, AM/FM stereo with cassette and CD player, 103,500 miles (still driving so the actual amount will vary), rear window defroster, cloth interior, electric mirrors. The vehicle is used and is in fair to good condition. Body shows normal dings, etc. that can be expected. Front right / passenger side fender has some light dinting from being hit with a shopping cart (please see pic), left rear / driver side tail lamp in cracked (please see pic), the electric top will go down by itself, but will not come back up by itself (you have to gently pull to help it back up). The automatic linkage has become disconnected and needs to be reconnected. The top needs to be replaced and it leaks at the rear window on the passenger side. As far as we know it is not leaking on the drivers side. We did price an after market top and found one on JC Whitney for roughly $400. Interior is in fair condition, needs to be cleaned, the drivers side seat has a tear (please see pic) and the back seat has some staining and light mildew from leaks, the sunvisors will need to be recovered or replaced. I think the staining / mildew will clean up fine with a steamer, we just havent tried. Car is not perfect, it is 10 years old and has some normal cosmetic flaws. As for the engine, etc. the body is sound. Would make a good first car for a teenager / young adult, good car just to cruise up and down the beach in or a good car just for driving to work. We have looked up the value on Kelly Blue Book (KBB) and I have attached copies of those in the pics as well. PLEASE scroll down for more pics. I worked for 10 years in a car dealership and am knowledgeable in used cars and values. The car is well worth the buy it now, we have set the reserve slightly under the buy it now price. Vehicle is still priced under the values. KBB values are for Trade-In Value and Private Party Value and for fair condition range from $3,328.00 to $4,588.00. This car is also being advertised locally, we reserve the right to end auction / listing early. There will be a $125 non-refundable deposit via Paypal required at end of auction and remainding balance due in the form of Cashiers Check or buyer can pay with cash at time of pick up. Payment must be made in full within 7 days of auction end time. If paying with Cashiers Check vehicle cannot be moved / picked up until Cashiers Check clears our bank (normally 30 days if it is not a nationally known bank).
