The Jeep Cherokee needs no introduction. Its reputation preceeds it as far as I'm concerned. I would rate the exterior condition of this Cherokee to be ABOVE AVERAGE for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this is an eye catching Jeep. Please expect normal wear associated with a used vehicle of this age and miles. The only thing I should specifically point out is the rear bumper. It is painted black in the center. It looks to have been damaged at some point. Otherwise, this is a great looking Jeep. Just look at the pictures... The bright red paint shines very well for the miles. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The alloy wheels look good and are wrapped in nearly new tires all around. The rear hatch struts are weak. Otherwise, I was pretty impressed with this Jeep. I would rate the interior condition of this Jeep Cherokee to be in AVERAGE condition for the mileage of the vehicle. The door panels are all clean and tight. The carpets are in good condition for the miles, too. The seats show well throughout the interior. A good cleaning wouldn't hurt...but it is in great condition for its age. The headliner is clean and the dash shows no cracks. The stereo is the original unit which sounds good. The climate control system appears to be working properly. The remote entry still works, too. The power windows, locks and mirrors also work properly. Mechanically, this Jeep appears to be in good running condition. The famous 4.0L inline six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. It is Jeeps like this that give Cherokees such a great reputation. The engine does not smoke and I did not see any leaks. I was very impressed when I drove this Jeep for the first time. The suspension, steering and brakes all feel great. The front end is nice and tight. The engine keeps a nice, steady temperature and excellent oil pressure. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. The 4WD system is tested and working properly. The engine makes great power. Highway cruising is effortless and she drives nice and strait with no complaints. If you didn't look at the odometer, you'd never guess how many miles are on this truck. Other than an airbag light that stays on, there were no warning lights. Overall, this is a very impressive Jeep all things considered. I'd drive it anywhere without a second thought.
