Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. I sell dozens of Grand Cherokees every year. I love them. They are, in my opinion, the best value available in a used SUV in this market. They are very simple, very reliable and inexpensive to own and service. I would rate the exterior condition of this Grand Cherokee Limited to be in ABOVE AVERAGE condition. As you can see, this is a good looking Jeep. Please expect to find normal wear associated with a used vehicle of this age and mileage. There are a few scuffs and scratches on the bumpers and a small spot of rust starting at the one rocker panel and on the bottom of the tailgate. The paint shines great and looks good. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. This Jeep is equipped with a trailer hitch for towing. The rear wiper is missing. The alloy wheels are in average condition and the tires have deep rubber all around. Overall, this is a very nice Jeep. Please see pics. I would rate the interior condition of this Jeep Grand Cherokee to be in ABOVE AVERAGE condition. The arm rest on the drivers door panel is cracked like most get from age. The other door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show well throughout the interior. The headliner is in relatively good condition for the age of the truck. The leather seats show very well throughout the interior. All of the wood trim is intact and looks great. Being a Limited, this Grand Cherokee is loaded with features and options. Both front seats are power operated and heated (heaters actually work). The power windows, locks, seats, sunroof and mirrors all work properly. The sound system is the factory Infinity Premium sound with cassette and CD. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. Additionally, this Jeep is equipped with Homelink integrated garage door openers, onboard computer and has an aftermarket alarm which works with the factory keyless entry. The interior of this Jeep is in great condition for its age. Mechanically, this Jeep appears to be in good running condition. The optional 225hp/300tq 5.2L V8 engine starts easily and runs smoothly. The engine does not smoke and I did not see any leaks. During my time driving this Jeep, it showed great road manners for an older Jeep. The front end is tight for an older Jeep. The suspension, steering and brakes all feel good. The engine keeps a steady temperature and good oil pressure. There were no warning lights on. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. This Jeep is equipped with the Quadra-Trac Full Time 4WD system which is working properly.
