As seen in the pictures this nice looking 2004 Mazda RX8 6-Speed has mainly sustained a very light left side damage to the fender area. The good news is the car starts, engine runs great and we were able to drive it around within our lot. All airbags are good!!! No suspension damage observed. Car steers ok and lot runs/drives!!! No obvious damage observed to the left wheel. This vehicle was directly purchased from insurance auctions for resale. No middle man involved. Pics clearly show the damaged area to the left fender of the vehicle. Left rail is straight and no damage as seen from the under the hood pics showing the left rail. Just re-install a new fender with minor adjustments near the door jam. The radiator is leaking fluid from a bump and needs to be changed. Left headlight is ok. Other areas of the exterior in good condition with some light scratches here and there but nothing major as seen in the pics. All glass good. All needed parts can be obtained from car-part website easily or search for them here on ebay. ENGINE RUNS GREAT, LOT RUNS/DRIVES, ALL AIRBAGS GOOD !!! As seen in the pictures this nice looking 2004 Mazda RX8 6-Speed has mainly sustained a very light left side damage to the fender area. The good news is the car starts, engine runs great and we were able to drive it around within our lot. All airbags are good!!! No suspension or frame damage observed. Car steers ok and lot runs/drives!!! No obvious damage observed to the left wheel. This vehicle was directly purchased from insurance auctions for resale. No middle man involved. Pics clearly show the damaged area to the left fender of the vehicle. Left rail is straight and no damage. Just re-install a new fender with minor adjustments. The radiator is leaking fluid from a bump and needs to be changed. Left headlight is ok. Other areas of the exterior in good condition with some light scratches here and there but nothing major as seen in the pics. All glass good. All needed parts can be obtained from car-part website easily or search for them here on ebay. ENGINE RUNS GREAT, LOT RUNS/DRIVES, ALL AIRBAGS GOOD !!! A SMALL NOTE ON SALVAGE VEHICLES
We specifically deal with light damaged or theft recovered salvage rebuildable vehicles. This vehicle was picked up from an insurance auction for resale. We directly purchase from insurance auctions and no middle man involved. Insurance companies usually salvage vehicles due to collision, theft, flood..etc. but this doesn't mean that they are beyond repair. In most cases its not the actual damage to the car that causes a vehicle to be salvaged but the circumstances under which they are declared salvage. For example, theft recovered vehicles are always salvaged since they are usually recovered after the owner is paid off by the insurance company. Or the owner might not want the vehicle after going through an accident even if the damages are light and easily repairable such as our cars. Whatever the case is these cars can easily be returned to the streets and that is why they're sold through auctions as repairable vehicles.
We have the salvage certificate of title (no-liens) in our possession and it will be re-assigned to the new owner to follow up with their state salvage process. Every state has its own salvage process and its usually filling out some forms and taking the car to an inspection after repairs (if any repairs are needed). Please check with your local motor vehicle center for the exact procedures and rules/regulations.
