1977 Chevrolet Silverado half ton short box truck. Truck has been in the family since 82. The truck is mostly original with the exception of being lowered.the odo reads 97k but i think it has rolled over. probably 197k. It has been repainted once. The truck is very solid. Does NOT have the rusty rockers, floorboards, or wheel wells. This truck has been well taken care of ang garaged most of its life. The suspension was lowered correctly, the front has drop spindles and a partial coil removed from the coil springs. The rear suspension has new factory type leaf springs(not lowered) Flip kit, with drop shackles and lowered shocks. The still rides nice. The engine is a stock 305 2 barrel with an automatic. The wheels are factory 8 inch wide rallys with newer tires. 275/60/15 in the rear and 255/60/15 in the front. The engine runs ok, Its definately not a hot rod but gets decent mileage. The orignal short block was replaced around 1985. Other than that the engine is all stock. I have given it a complete tune up about 12 months. The carberuator is a 2 barrel that was completely overhauled about 2 years ago. Its not my daily driver but i would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. The transmission works and functions as it should. The Brakes have been replaced about 1 year ago. It could use a final brake adjustment and proper bleeding. Overall the truck is nice for being mostly original. It does have scratches and defects in the paint and minor surface rust in areas. Both doors are very solid and rust free just like the rocker panels. It does need carpet as you can see in the picture. i do have some oe style door panel pull straps that are a lighter color brown, and 3 of the 4 end caps. Everything on the inside functions and works properly. This truck has never been in any type of collision. Im only selling this truck to get another project funded.
