I have owned this 77,000 ORIGINAL MILE truck for a few years and new priorities force the sale, as it sits in the garage when it should be touring the local fairgrounds winning trophies. This truck has had no expense spared and was a frame-off restoration around 15 years ago. Hasn't seen rain or salt. It is a 1977 C-10 stepside with a 1978 cab that has been chopped about 4". It is completely shaved and cleaned up. The all metal, no filler bodywork has been sprayed with a metallic light blue with silver-blue ghost flames. The paint and body-work are a solid 9.5 out of 10, with only a few very minor chips (touched-up) on the bumpers etc. The underside of the truck is just as nice, NO RUST top or bottom, the floor pans even match the top. All of the chassis bolts are still cad-plated and none of the rubber bushings or cab mounts show much in the way of wear or weather-checking. Almost everything on the truck was new when restored and looks brand new. Not sure what the front stub is out of, but it looks to be monte-carlo and is done right. nothing on this truck is cobbled or half-assed. 350 crate motor runs and sounds great (turbo mufflers/dumps), with no knocks or smoke and doesnt use oil. It is a mild motor, as the truck was built for cruising. Engine has a polished Weiand aluminum intake and Quadrajet carb and is backed by a TH350 and a 10 bolt. Powersteering and powerbrakes with discs on the front. Tailights are frenched into the rear fenders and look real clean. Interior is a solid 9 out of 10 with fresh upholstery and nice carpet. dash is original and looks like it should with this low of mileage. The truck DOES NOT have air-conditioning although it wouldn't be hard to convert it back to functional. The only issues at all with the truck is that the electric door-popper solenoid/actuators occasionally do not pop the doors. I believe they need adjusted but i dont know for sure. I do know that they always work when hooked up to a battery charger (just replaced the battery). It also has developed a minor ATF leak since it has been sitting this winter (i think it just needs driven some to heat cycle the seals, i havent driven it much lately) Other than that, this truck needs absolutely nothing (other than a good detailing, as it's sat in the garage for a season). The truck is sold AS, WHERE IS with NO WARRANTY, implied or written, however, bid with confidence as my feedback speaks for itself. . .
