1968 MG MGB GT for sale by original owner. This car was bought new here in Huntsville when Stockton Motor Car Company was the local MG dealer. The engine was completely rebuilt within 5000 miles ago, and a rebuilt overdrive transmission was installed at the same time. The interior is in excellent condition, with a period aftermarket AAMCO console. The car has a period aftermarket air conditioning system that was installed about seven years ago and incorporates a modern Sandien compressor and a modern condenser with electric booster fan. The A/C system uses modern refrigerant. The car's name is Mr. Green. Estimated mileage is 140,000. Paint is original British Racing Green. Wheels are original 60 spoke painted wire wheels. The car has been garaged its entire life and has no known rust in the rocker panels or doglegs. I have good records on what has been done to this car, plus a number of parts that will go with it to enable continued improvements. The State of Alabama did not issue titles to cars in 1968 and will not issue one retroactively. I lived in Florida from 1999 to 2005 and have a clear Florida title obtained at that time. I can provide whatever other proof a purchaser may require.
