Vehicle Detail

Hello again, fellow ebay people! Yes,the fury is up for sale again. I'm sure this comes as no surprise to those of you more knowledgable than me about ebay. I would like to thank and apologize to all the previous SINCERE bidders(duane from fla, joe from mich, hank (not sure where you are from), fred from pa, julian from nc, and all the other e-mail correspondents. Here is what happened, car was put up for bid, I rec'd much sincere interest in it through phone calls and e-mails, and responded to them. Bidding was going well and was around 3600 when I went to bed Fri. night. When I got up Sat. morning, there had been 2 bids placed overnight and the amount was up to 10,099. Being a novice (as you can see by the (1) behind my user name), I wasn't aware that I could cancel those 2 bids until after the listing had expired. The person who placed the bid gave me a long story about how they were paying me with paypal, and were including shipping charges of 1850.00. I have received 4 e-mails in the last 12 hrs. requesting me to wire the 1850.00 shipping charges to them and 4 e-mails that payment had been made to me through paypal for 11,949.00! (Did I mention that I don't have a paypal account!) All this being said, let's talk about the car and myself. I purchased this car in 2004 from the original owners (yes,I have a copy of the original title). They were truly a Leave it to Beaver couple. She a stay in bed (I mean at home) mom, him a regional Chrysler rep with a company car. The car has spent most of its life in heated garages and has only 25,963 original miles. It is original EVERYTHING as far as I know. Tires were put on in 2003 by previous owner. In my ownership, I have taken very good care of it. It runs and drives great! My only reason for selling it is changes of interests in life. I am more of a motor cycle kind of guy, and in the last several years have taken up camping. Since this is where my interests are now, I've decided to sell the car. It would be great if you can come look at it in person, but I realize logistics don't always allow that. It is a very nice original car that has been well taken care of. I will be more than happy to answer any other questions anyone may have. You can call me at 724-728-1030 or e-mail me at barbee28465@hotmail.com. Thank you and I hope someone gives it a nice home. P.S. This time you can bid with confidence because any suspicious bids I will cancel. Since I am new to the feedback scenario I will cancel any bids with less than 5 feedbacks unless you call me on the phone (yes, we will make Alexander Graham Bell proud) and clear your bid with me. Thanks a lot for reading this entire oratory and if you have read this far, you are probably sincerely interested in the car. As far as payment goes, due to this last debacle, I will require a $500 deposit within 48 hours of bid ending and, of course, full payment upon completion of sale. As far as more info on the car, it is a 318 V-8 engine, power steering, power brakes. I have an additional 33 pictures that I will be glad to e-mail you upon request. You will not be disappointed.
