This 98,000 mile Saturn is powered by the reliable, fuel efficient Twin Cam 4 cylinder engine and 5-speed manual transmission. The Twin Cam engine starts up right away and has plenty of power. The 5-speed manual transmission shifts easily. The clutch engages well and does not slip. The brakes stop strong and straight. This car drives straight and does not shake or wobble. We did some service to this vehicle. The front brake pads and rotors are new. The thermostat was replaced as well. The SAI system was cleaned out and de-coked. The dark green paint is in above average shape. It does not have any of the common clear coat peeling on the hood, upper door frames, or spoiler. As you can see in the pictures, there are some small scratched spots from the usual wear associated with age and mileage. There are a few blemishes in the paint at the front of the hood (see pics). The plastic body panels, including the front and rear bumpers, are all straight and have no cracks or breaks. The interior is the optional dark cloth interior. The dark interior is preferred because it does not show wear and stains like the more common tan interior. The black cloth seats are in excellent condition. The black carpet is in good condition. It has only minor wear in the driver's foot well. The headliner is in like-new condition. It is not sagging and does not look like it has ever been repaired. This Saturn has an aftermarket AM/FM CD player and the speakers have good sound quality. The manual windows and mirrors work as they should and there is no broken or damaged glass. The heater and A/C work well and the fan works at all speeds in all positions. The tires have decent tread, better than half-life left and they pass the penny-test easily. I love the Saturns with the Twin Cam engine and 5-speed transmission both as a dealer and a driver because they are good, reliable vehicles that you can get at a good price, not have to worry about things breaking all the time, and even when you have to do service, none of the parts are expensive. Plus the added bonus of getting close to 40 mpg! I have driven this car for a while as my daily driver and put several hundred miles on it and I have no complaints. This is a great little car.
