Every vehicle is represented accurately to the best of my ability. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a very clean 1999 Saab 9-5 wagon. In addition to being absolutely gorgeous, this wagon is equipped with the very rare manual transmission. I would rate the exterior condition of this Saab to be EXCELLENT...a rating which I rarely give. As you can see, there is hardly a mark to be found on this car. Please don't expect perfection. This is a used car after all. I feel the new owner of this car will be very impressed with its physical condition for its age. The silver exterior has a deep shine and looks great from any angle. The alloy wheels add to the sporting look of this wagon. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The tires have average tread all around, too. Please look at each of the photos to see how nice this Saab looks. I would rate the interior condition of this Saab to also be in EXCELLENT CONDITION. As you open the drivers door, it is immediately evident that someone took excellent care of this vehicle. The door cards are all clean and tight. The carpets show very well throughout the interior. The leather seats also show almost no wear at all. The cargo area looks as if it has never been used. There are a few pixels out in the information center, which is common. The wood trim has kept an excellent shine over the years and looks great. The power windows, locks, mirrors, seats and sunroof all work properly. In addition to being power operated, both front seats are also heated. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The stereo is the original factory system which sounds great. There are steering wheel audio controls, too. The original owners book is included. I always like to point out an often overlooked feature of Saab automobiles. Saab is always praised for winning endurance races and being able to keep average speeds in the triple digits for days strait. The counter point to that is that just because the machinery can accomplish that, someone has to be able to make it happen. Saab really excells at putting the driver first. So much effort goes into the interior layout and features that prevent driver fatigue and it goes mostly unmentioned. I would have to say that a Saab is, in my opinion, one of the most forgiving cars to drive long distances. Everything inside is done with the driver in mind...even down to the "night panel" feature (which aids in reducing driver fatigue on long night time trips). Mechanically, this Saab appears to be in good running condition. The 2.3L four cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. During my time driving this car, it has behaved beautifully. The suspension, steering and brakes all feel great. The clutch engages smoothly and does not slip or chatter. Gear changes through the manual transmission are smooth. The enigne keeps a good temperature and there were no warning lights on. Out on the highway, she cruises nice and strait with no issues. Payments made by wire transfer, check (cashiers or personal), or money order will be subject to verification of funds by my bank. The vehicle and title will be held until all funds have been cleared by my bank and made available for withdraw.
Paypal is accepted for the initial deposit only...not the balance. This includes Bill Me Later.
All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auction's end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without arrangements being made prior to the end of the auction will be subject to a storage fee of $5/day.
Fees:
An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Buyer is responsible for their own taxes, tags, registration, or any other fee due to their State. 30 day transport tags (aka In Transit or temp tags) are available through PennDOT to out of state buyers for a fee.
This auction is a legally binding contract to buy this vehicle. All vehicles are sold as-is unless otherwise specified. I have done my best to accurately describe this vehicle. It is up to the buyer to come see and further inspect the car before the end of the auction.-->
