You are bidding on a beautiful 1985 Mercedes Benz W123 300D Turbo Diesel finished in code 702, smoke silver. I own an independent Mercedes repair shop, specializing in diesel. I enjoy looking for nice older diesels to restore and re-sale. Of the many W123 Mercedes diesel cars that I have owned, this one is in the top three. I really wish I could keep this car for myself. It has 126,900 original miles. It comes with all the records and books. The paint is completely original and in near perfect condition. The interior is also like new, with all the original weather-strip cloth covering and door jamb piping in excellent condition. The zebrano wood trim does not have any chips or cracks and the dash pad is also free of any cracks or imperfections. The original spare tire has never been on the road and the factory tool kit is still wrapped up in the plastic bag. All of the systems in this car work perfectly including the A/C, climate control, and Cruise Control. No mechanical work is needed at this time. There are no fluid leaks. The suspension is all in perfect working order and there is no play in the wheel. The transmission was rebuilt around 100,000 miles. The brakes and front wheel bearings where all just replaced. The tires have 10,000 miles of use and are wearing evenly. This 300D drives straight down the road and runs smoothly, with full power and soft crisp shifting.
