1978 Buick Opel by Isuzu I bought this car last winter to have something that would fit in my garage to work on, it needed a head gasket which I replaced along with the valve seals and other related gaskets, I also replaced the top radiator hose and the heater by pass hoses, thermostat, I have a new bottom radiator hose but did not replace it the brakes work good, the tires are about 30% left, the automatic transmission shifts good and solid, I replaced spark plugs also. This car has some rust which are included in the pictures and some hail damage, the interior is clean and the carpet is good, the seats are coming apart at the seams in some places but that is just from age and they are functional with covers on them the car runs rough when it is cold, the choke seems to be not adjusted correctly, but when it warms up it idles ok, does not burn any oil or smoke the car has factory air conditioning but it did not have belts and I did not put any on to test it, I can not say one way or an other on it. the floors are not rusted out and the trunk just has surface rust and dirt in the pictures over all this is a solid car, this is a no reserve auction and the starting bid is a very reasonable price for a drivable safe car, all of the lights work the radio works. This is basically an isuzu with the buick opel name badges on it. this car was only made by Isuzu for three years, the engine is a 1.8 four cylinder, which is the same engine that the Chevy LUV has in it the car is located in Hays Kansas 67601 email for questions thanks for looking
