I am relisting my car because buyer did not complete the transaction, to be fair he paid the deposit but then we lost contact, perhaps something happened, anyhow here it is again, 1967 KARMANN GHIA, very complete project car, runs and drives, don't have the time so i've decided to sell. new tires and battery, runs great but needs restoration,needs rear floor pans , rest of car is pretty clean. call anytime, 918-225-8085 On Jan-30-12 at 08:17:25 PST, seller added the following information: have had quite a few questions wanting to know more about the condition of the car, it runs and drives and is good for short distances but is not roadworthy, brakes need to be addressed, has one brake that is locking up and the reverse gear seems to have issues maybe a tooth chipped on the reverse gear, goes into reverse but it is not smooth in gear i am a mechanic by trade and searched for a while to find a worthy canidate to restore and this car was perfect for me, its an oklahoma car and the body is very clean (low rust) compared to other unrestored ghias i had come across in the past, it was the correct year, buildable body, and it ran enough to move around until i could restore it, nice project, clean title and does need to be restored. thank you, please call or email with any other questions. check out my other vw auctions.
