Vehicle Detail
Here is a 1969 Mustang Fastback that is in restorable condition. I attempted to decode the VIN and the Buck tag on the fender and I think the car originally came with a 351 4 barrel and a manual transmission. Please decode the numbers yourself so that you know what you are buying. The clutch pedal & rod are still in the car, however someone converted it to an automatic at some point. There is a faint outline of a "Mach 1" stripe on the fender, but I have no idea if this car is a Mach 1. The car appears to need a complete floorpan, and some patch panels on the quarters. The frame rails appear to be solid, but the last 15" on the rear LH rail does have a little damage - see the picture. The hood is crap... just throw it away; and so is the gas tank. The fenders, doors, and rockers all seem solid and are very workable. The torque boxes appear solid. Please inspect the pictures closely. What you see is waht you get. If you would like additional pictures, I have over 50 of them that I will be happy to email. The car is available to inspect in person, just email me a phone number and we'll arrange a time. I can help load the car (meaning I have a few stout buddies that will come help) but I do not have access to a fork lift. If your trailer has a winch, that would be great. The car is sold with a bill of sale only - title not available. The State of Georgia does not and will not issue a title on vehicle of this age. Please check your state for their title policy before bidding. This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION - HIGH BID WINS. Please understand how this works: If you bid on this car, have your money ready when you place the bid. I can not nor will not wait for your tax return to come in. Please have your transportation worked out. You will need a truck and a trailer. If you have to borrow your buddy's truck and trailer, ask him before you bid. Make sure your significant other knows about this before you bid. I can not hold the car for a month while you work out the details. If the winning bidder has any of the above issues - I will cancel the bid and relist the car. Now the fine print: This is a 7 day auction that will end Sunday March 4th at 9pm eastern time. The winning bidder has 48 hours from auction close (that's 9pm on the 6th... Tuesday) to pay a NONREFUNDABLE DEPOSIT of $500.00 thru paypal. The balance is due when the car is picked up. The car has to be picked up with 2 weeks of the auction's end. So that means that the car has to be loaded on your trailer by Sunday, March 18th... no later. If you have some crazy circumstances, then we can work something out - communication is imperative.
