I am selling a 1968 Ford Torino with a no reserve price high bidder will take car. I was going to take the care to our swap meet in spring but I'v picked something else up now that I'm working on and do not have time to sit on it and leave it sit down at my shop so if it does not sell then I will have to pay for storage which I do not want to do. So here are the things wrong with the car interior needs front seat covers that's $289.00 needs headliner thats $79.00 needs rear sail panels thats $45.00 needs touch up on paint thats $400.00 from a body shop already had 2 estimates, needs hood hinges those are $30.00 each everything else is good. (So where are you going to buy a classic car that needs $900.00 worth of work if you do it your self besides the paint if you do the paint your self now your down to $600.00.) THe motor is a 289 4 barrel 4 speed headers new exhaust I was told the motor was a hipo ran all the # and it is possible, but the 289 and the 289 hipo seem to have the same # 's The block, intake, alternator and transmission all match. I was told that the drive train came out of a 1965 or 1966 mustang gt fast back and the guy I got the car from said it was a hipo.This car original came with a 302 2 barrel 4 speed and the original color was red with black vinyl interior. The engine, trans, clutch, brakes, front suspension, rear suspension, exhaust, motor mounts are 100% perfect.The engine # is block C5AE-6015E intake # C 8AE 9425 B alternator bracket C5AE-10145-A alternator pulley C5AF10A352.Please do not waiste my time and try to talk me down from where the price is if you can't afford it don't buy it, everyone wants the car for free this is as free as you are getting.If you live in the UK do not contact me you are not getting this car I do not have time for scammers.
