Vehicle Detail

I bought this truck little over a year ago as a project my wife and I just had our third child and I am starting a new job so I will not have the time to finish it. It is a 4x4 single rear wheel one ton truck it used to have a flat bed on it however it will come with the step side IH bed that is in in the pictures. This truck was a highway department truck and it was then purchase by a dairy farm here in Texas, it was then purchased by a private owner and I purchased it from him. It has dana 70 axles front and rear, I removed the engine because it was shot, I do not have the engine however I still have the transmission if you are interested. I am in the process of removing the 5.3 that was in it because it did not sell. The axles and running gear are worthg more than my starting bid. Before I decided to replace the engine I performed a lot of maintenance on the truck, I replaced all the wheel cylinders, the rear brake shoes, the outer wheel bearings on both sides of the rear axle, all of the outer axle seals front and rear, all of the soft brake lines, and the previous owner replaced the master cylinder. I have redone a lot of the wiring for the lights, all of the lights function well and the problematic turn signal switch has been replaced with a GM unit. It is set up for a chevrolet engine, or you could pretty easily go back to an IH engine. If you want I will throw in a custom driveshaft to connect a 4l60E to the transfer case. It also has almost brand new tires although if I were going to keep it I would run bigger tires I was planning on the 37" MTR goodyear. There are a couple things that need to be done so that this truck will be ready to drive. This truck is ready for you to drop your engine in or to be used for parts. Give me a call if you have any questions, (817)-308-6747, I reserve the right to end this auction early as the truck is for sale locally. ThanksHudson
