A rare car with a unique history available for the right buyer. This is a 1991 V8 Quattro that was last owned by VW North America and registered in Auburn Hills, MI. Vehicle was used for executive transportation and shows little sign of wear. It is my understanding that the corporate office scraps or junks vehicles when they are retired. This vehicle has a junk certificate issued by the state of Michigan. Vehicle was only driven for a short period of time on a dealer tag after its purchase from VW. Vehicle has been stored for many years. Car has not been in any accidents or had any paintwork. Since purchasing, I installed a new Audi OEM battery, flushed the fuel tank, replaced the fuel filter, and fuel pump. New plugs and wires installed. Car starts up and runs beautifully! From sitting, the car does need attention. The headliner is falling down, but the sunroof does not leak and the interior stays bone dry. Otherwise, the interior is in excellent condition. The interior needs cleaning, but is stain and tear free. It has factory floormats on top of factory floormats! All interior and exterior lights work. The original Bose radio works, but not through all speakers. I haven't checked out the problem yet. From sitting, the vehicle should have all belts replaced, but everything performs as it should. Tires have great tread and appear to be from an A8. The paint is in good condition, but the roof could use a respray. There is one small ding on the rear drivers side pillar. All lights are free and devoid of cracks. The car needs new brakes. I have a factory service manual to go with the car along with two original keys, and original leather key pouch. I believe the vehicle is priced well based on history and condition. Even if used as a parts car, this price should be fair. I am glad to consider any offers, because the car must go.
