1971 Volvo 142E 4 Speed with O/D.One family since new. Original blue plate California car. Purchased new from Ogden Imports , Vallejo CA. Unrestored original condition. Body is rust free. Paint very faded. Paint from factory went bad early on most of the gold 142's from that era. Interior good for age. Dealer installed A/C complete but not working. Odometer (inop) showing 330,000 + miles . Speedo works. O/D works fine.Driven into storage on new tires in 2006. Just before storage had the fuel rail and injectors resealed and also the drive shaft balanced + new u-joints. Car deserves a full restoration but could easily be returned to a daily driver with a fluid change and a bit of elbow grease. Mechanical parts to restore this car are easy to get and very cheap. Clear California title for easy transfer. Low starting price is a STEAL for the rust free body alone. Never thrashed or driven by kids. Never been in an accident. Only body damage is pictured in drivers side just behind door. Owned plenty of 240's but the 142 has always been the favourite of our Swedish bricks. If you like Volvo's , do not miss this one.
