What I have here is a 1955 Chevrolt Bel Air 2 door sedan body that was being converted to a replica of a "GASSER" that we started to build for a customer who supplied us with the vehicle. Both doors and trunk lid are included. As you can see in the pictures, some of the body was cut in prep of modifications to be performed and some exterior sheet metal is needed to finish out exterior. The frame from the firewall back has been modifyied for rear shock mounts, transmission brace, springs located under the frame, and totally re-welded and painted. Still has the original front frame section with suspension attached, and the stock rear axle is still under the rear. Firewall was being located rearward for engine set-back. trunk floor was cut out when we received it and was going to be modifyied anyhow for fuel cell and batteries. The floor boards are in good shape. need both rockers and we were going to reskin rear quarters with round wheel openings. At some point after this job started, the customer "jumped ship" leaving us a sizeable bill. We have NO TITLE for this car. We are selling it AS-IS, WHERE-IS. It has been in our possession for over 15 years now in indoor storage. Time to move it as I need the room. Many exterior and interior parts are inside it and included. we can not recover most of our expenses, but would like to recover some. Asking $3000.00 OBO. Car is a roller and body is bolted to chassis at some points for transport. Vehicle is located near Hendersonville, North Carolina. Buyer is responsible for shipping and any associated costs.
