Vehicle Detail
This has been a fun and great truck but I am needing a bigger dully that is more dedicated to towing heavier loads as I will be moving trailers a lot more and now have a small fuel efficient vehicle to use when I am not towing. My truck for sale is a 4x4 off road series with skid plates and has the XLT trim package. It is an extended cab with an 8' long bed. It has Ranch hand cattle bumpers (full replacement front and back bumpers, not just grill guards) and it has KC lights. It is set up for towing and has a built in trailer brake controller for up to 4 axles (8 brakes), 4 and 7 pin trailer connectors, additional air bag suspension on the rear to keep the vehicle level when towing or if you have a lot of weight in the bed, Reese rails for 5th wheel or goose neck hitches (up to 15.5k of towing) and a rear receiver for bumper pull trailers (rated to tow up to 12.5K). It has a low rise (1" rise) tuxedo tool box/ tono cover combo and has a ladder rack that can be used when the tono cover is rolled up to the toolbox, there was a rip in the tono cover that was patched. It has a professionally installed spray in bed liner done by line-x and it has a K&N air intake system. The truck has been well maintained and all maintenance has been kept up (will provide service records with the truck and upon request I can also e-mail a copy). The oil was changed every 5,000 miles, dealer states that it is only required every 6 months or 10k miles for highway driving. The truck occasionally towed a camper trailer (less than 15,000 miles of towing). The truck mostly just carried ladders and sound equipment. The truck was just inspected and passed a safety inspection on December 30th. The truck has a lot of power for towing and tows smooth for only having single rear wheels and drives smooth with no load for being a bigger truck and is very quiet compared to the older diesels. It has power seats (driver & passenger), a rear sliding window, heated telescoping power mirrors, power windows & locks, tire size is 275/70R18E, 3.73 limited slip axle, security group package, fog lamps, privacy glass, electric shift on the fly transfer case, cruise control and other standard options. The AC works extremely well. The miles per gallon vary greatly on this vehicle as they do with any bigger vehicle. It depends on how much you are pulling and how fast you are driving along with wind and the terrain you are diving on. I have done 21 mpg in extremely good conditions with no load and I have done as low as 11 mpg with no load but mostly stop and go city driving. With a 13k trailer I normally got 8-13 mpg highway driving. It does have a 38 gallon fuel tank. The accident the truck was in was for someone hitting the back passenger side of the truck, all that was done was a big dent in the passenger bedside minor damage to the tailgate and rear bumper. All the damage was cosmetic and did not effect the driving of the truck and all the work was done by a Ford dealer. They did put NEW panels on and a new ranch hand bumper onto the truck.
