Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a very nice 2000 Oldsmobile Bravada. The Bravada is a great vehicle. I have personally owned several and sold dozens. In fact, my wife has been driving a Bravada for the last few years until I finally gave in and got her a minivan. I like the Bravada because it shares most of its bones with the Chevrolet Blazer...except it has more luxury features and the SmartTrac All-Wheel-Drive versus the old style 4WD system. I would rate the exterior condition of this Bravada to be in ABOVE AVERAGE condition. The green finish (unique to the Bravada) has a deep gloss and looks great from any angle. Aside from some minor signs of normal use, there are no noteworthy dents or scratches. The light coming from the windows made the rear tailgate paint look oddly blue. It is not a differant shade, it is the exact same green finish as the rest of the truck. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The rear windows are privacy tinted. The alloy wheels show very well. Two of the tires are a little thin and two have over half tread left. Also, this Bravada is equipped with a full sized hitch. Overall, this is a great looking truck. I would rate the interior of this Bravada to also be in ABOVE AVERAGE condition. Inside you find more and more reasons to own one of these over a Blazer. The leather seats are specific to the Bravada as well as the wood trimmed interior. The carpets are clean and show well throughout the interior. The leather seats are in great condition and are heated and power operated. There is a little plastic trim piece on the side of the seat that is missing (they always break). The stereo is the original Premium Sound with cassette and CD up front as well as a changer. The climate control system is fully automatic and working properly. There are independent temperature controls for the driver and passenger. The power windows, locks, seats and mirrors all work properly. Pride in ownership shows throughout this vehicle. This Bravada comes with two sets of keys and two remotes to the factory security system which works properly. The cargo area is spacious and clean. Mechanically, this Bravada appears to be in good running order. The famously reliable 4.3L Vortec engine starts easily and runs smoothly. The 4.3L engine is one of the best engines GM has ever made...largely because it is literally 3/4 of a 350ci V8, which they have been making for nearly half a century. The engine does not smoke and I did not see any leaks. Out on the road, this Bravada shows excellent road manners. The engine keeps a steady temperature and good oil pressure. There were no warning lights on. The suspension is nice and tight. Steering is responsive as it should be. The brakes do an excellent job of bringing this SUV to a quick stop. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. The SmartTrac system is working great. I much prefer this to the part time 4WD systems of the Blazer/Jimmy because you really don't have to ever mess with it. As I said, I've owned several Bravadas and they eat up snow as good as a Blazer...you just don't have to worry about the push button system breaking like they're known to do. That is why I love these trucks. You get the ruggedness and reliability of a Blazer with the luxury and AWD system you can only get in a Bravada. Out on the highway, she drives very well. No allowance or set aside will be made on account of any incorrectness, imperfection, defect or damage. Any descriptions or representations are for identification purposes only and are not to be construed as a warranty of any type. It is the responsibility of the buyer to have thoroughly inspected the vehicle, and to have satisfied himself or herself as to the condition and value and to bid based upon that judgement solely. The seller shall and will make every reasonable effort to disclose any known defects associated with this vehicle at the buyer's request prior to the close of sale. Seller assumes no responsibility for any repairs regardless of any oral statements about the vehicle.
Accepted Payment Methods:
Vehicle will be immediately available for pick up if paid by cash in person. Payments made by wire transfer, check(cashiers or personal), money order will be subject to verification of fundss by my bank. The vehilce will be held until all funds have been cleared by my bank and available for withdraw.
Paypal is accepted for the initial deposit only...not the balance.
All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auctions end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without arrangements being made prior to the end of the auction will be subject to a storage fee of $5/day.
Fees:
An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Buyer is responsible for their own taxes, tags and registration fees. 30 day transport tags are available through PennDOT to out of state buyers for $35.
This auction is a legally binding contract to buy this vehicle. All vehicles are sold as-is unless otherwise specified. I have done my best to accurately describe this vehicle. It is up to the buyer to come see and further inspect the car before the end of the auction.-->
