Selling my '48 Ford F1 Pickup. I drive this truck to work a few times a week. 307 Chevy motor, TH350 transmission, 10-bolt rear end. Converted to 12-volt system. Runs and drives very well. The steering is a bit loose but I have a box of brand new steering parts that will go with the truck to replace some of the worn-out parts in the front end. I will also include brand new-in-box seat belts. This truck has new weatherstripping on the hood and doors, as well as brand new windshield and rear window (including the rubber window trim). Some surface rust but no rot - floors were just done. New wheels and tires. Body is basically rust-free, it was done and painted before I got the truck. Some bondo was used but I have not inspected it close enough to say how much. Interior primarily rust free as far as I can tell. There is some surface rust on the ceiling, presumably due to an old headliner that was removed. Bench seat looks to be original, but there are no tears or excessive wear. Aftermarket engine gauges work, but the factory gauges need to be wired up. Heater does work but needs to be wired. This is an awesome base for restoration, or drive as-is while you work on it. It's a lot of fun to drive and people ask me about it wherever I go. A fast, reliable daily driver perfect for cruising around town.
