1953 Chevrolet 3100 half ton shortbed 5 window deluxe , rustfree California pickup . Has brand new : PAINT/INTERIOR/CHROME/GLASS/WEATHERSTRIPPING/BEDWOOD ETC. I completely disassembled the truck for paint , glass and everything else taken out . Started with a very nice rustfree body , painted it a beautiful stock style Creme color and reassembled it with new grille,bumpers,emblems and trim , all new green tinted glass and weatherstripping , all new stock interior , 5 wide whites with new hubcaps , nice sidemount spare . Bed is brand new , sides , front and tailgate so no waves or dings in the bed ! New bed wood , strips , hardware , tailgate chains , tail lights etc . All new or replated hardware . While I was putting the new bed together , I took the old one off , sandblasted the frame and cleaned and painted underneath . All the gauges are restored and working with the 12V system , wipers are working , heater is not . Everything else on the dash is also new , as are the seat , door panels , headliner and carpet . It runs and drives great and is all stock : straight six 4 speed on the floor and closed rearend so no worries . New clutch , speedo cable , tuneup , fluid change , lots of other stuff I'm forgetting to mention and complete brand new brakes . Runs super cool , great oil pressure , no smoke , good power . Drives very nice and tight . Hopefully the pictures tell the story , as it is a beautiful truck . I've restored about 20 of these 47-53 pickups and this one is very nice .
