Each vehicle is thoroughly road tested before being listed on eBay so I can tell you first hand how it looks, runs and drives. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Please take the time to read this entire description carefully and review each of the photos closely before bidding. I am not a mechanic. I include dozens of photos and everything I know about each vehicle so you can make an informed decision. Each vehicle is represented accurately to the best of my ability. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1989 Toyota pickup truck. This one is equipped with the SR-5 trim package which is top of the line for Toyota trucks and comes with several features (inside and outside) that are not even optional on the base model truck. I would rate the exterior condition of this truck as AVERAGE for the age/mileage. Actually, the only thing keeping the rating at "average" is that the truck is in primer. The body appears to be near perfect. There are no major dents or scratches to be found. The chrome is in great condition all around. The most impressive thing is that I could not find a spec of rust on the body of this truck. If it were painted, this would be one of the nicest Toyota trucks out there. The alloy wheels (which are specific to the SR-5 package) are in great shape. The tires have great tread all around. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The lights have been upgraded. The bed has a sprayed in liner and there is a matching tool box that will go with the truck. Overall, if you're looking for a strait Toyota truck...here it is (and an SR-5 to boot). I would also rate the interior of this truck to be in AVERAGE condition. It would appear that the interior of this truck was originally red. The seats and seat belts are still red. The carpet and door panels have been switched over to black/gray. The interior plastics, such as the dash/shifter/console, have been dyed black. You can see a little bit of red on the shifter (which gets the most use) but overall, it looks like a very nice and professional grade job was done. Being an SR-5, this truck is equipped with some options not available on the base model. The interior is a definite upgrade from the base model, having seats that are actually comfortable and real upholstered door panels opposed to the plastic panels that come standard. Another big plus with the SR-5 is the presence of power windows and locks which are not available in the base trim. Another SR-5 specific feature is the sunroof which very nice. The stereo has been upgraded to a CD player and sounds good. The blower to the interior fan does not work. I know there are no issues with the heater core or controls because warm air will blow through the vents where you select it to go once warmed up and moving. I do have a replacement blower which I have not had time to install. I will include it with the truck. The original owners book is also included for the new owner. Mechanically, this Toyota appears to be in good running condition. What can I say, it's an old Toyota. The 3.0L V6 starts easily and runs smoothly. This truck keeps a steady operating temperature and excellent oil pressure at all times. Driving down the road, this truck drives just like an old Toyota. The suspension is nice and tight. Steering is responsive and easy to operate. The brakes do a great job of stopping this truck. The check engine light popped on a few weeks ago and I don't know why. I don't have the proper scan tool for Asian OBD1. It doesn't appear to have any issues that effect drivability. The automatic transmission shifts a little hard when it's cold but smooths out when it warms up...typical older Toyota. The 4WD is tested and working properly. There is an aftermarket exhaust which looks good and isn't too loud. I've driven this truck around for a few weeks as needed. It drives very well for its age. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1989 Toyota pickup truck. This one is equipped with the SR-5 trim package which is top of the line for Toyota trucks and comes with several features (inside and outside) that are not even optional on the base model truck.
