1997 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 extra cab. It has the 5.7 Vortec engine. It has American alloy wheels, AC, power drivers seat, overhead console, factory CD plaer, power windows, locks, mirrors, its pretty much loaded and all power options work. It has a bedliner and a bed mat. This truck has 223,000 miles but still runs great. I bought it almost 4 years ago with 180,000 miles and it had papers on a recent transmission overhaul. and the AC compressor was replaced. It had the bed replaced so it has a rebuilt title, but it drives straight and true. It has been a very dependable truck for me, the interior is nice except for small tear at drivers seat hinge, could use cleaning. it has the heavy duty chassis but it rides smooth like a half ton truck, and it pulls strong if towing. I would not be afraid to drive this truck anywhere. Since I have owned it I have replaced the fuel pump, water pump, radiator, and axle seal. Now this is a used truck and it is not perfect. I will try to list all negaives I can think of. It is a great work truck as is, it runs and drives good and you can drive it anywhere, but if you want a pretty truck it will need some paint and some dings repaired, could use a new tailgate, see the pics, it still is a good looking 20 footer. It has been bumped in the front and the bumper is wavy and the grille needs alignment. The AC worked great every summer, but it needs some freon now, it has a small leak. it also needs some rear tires, I had a blowout so the spare is on it now but it will come with the alloy wheel. It has a chrome rear step bumper. with a reciever hitch and trailer connector. Besides minor door dings, the only real dents are a crease on the drivers side quarter, (see the pic). And the front bumper is wavy, also see pic. And all the power options all work, Power windows,mirrors,cd player, ect. I just now checked NADA guides, Kelly blue book and Edmunds and even wih the high mileage, trade in value is still around $2500 -$3000 in the condition it is in, but the highest bidder will own it reguardless of the amount.
