THIS IS JUST A FUN DRIVER NOT A MUSEUM PIECE !!!!!! 1966 Chevrolet Malibu “Super Sport” clone Convertible Big Block - Turbo 400 - with a 331gear 12 Bolt rear. I bought this car last year and was told by the last owner the 454 big block was recently rebuilt along with the cylinder heads. It has a nice mild lumpy idle. The transmission is a Turbo 400 that shifts well. I see alittle drip from what looks like the modulator valve. I do have a new one I purchased that can go along with the car. Tight money situation forces me to sell the car. Hotchkis suspension and Flowmaster dual exhaust system. The car runs strong and retains most all it’s original sheetmetal. The floors look original with the original undercoat still on them and show very well. The frame looks solid. The trunk floor had a couple small but neat patches. The doors open and close like new. The car was painted last year a Urathane base coat- Clear coat then sanded and buffed to a nice deep shine. There are minor nicks or blemishes etc. from use or age but the car shows very nice. The cloth top looks very nice with no tears. The top is manual and works good. The wipers work, e brake, and under dash gauges. As I remember the radio,heater blower+ horn are inop . This is a fun ragtop cruiser but I really need to move some money around so the toys must go! NEW, NEW, NEW, The car has a fairly new fuel tank, battery, master cylinder, voltage regulator, carpet, sill plates, front seat covers, front + rear bumpers, SS Hood, emblems, etc…. The 4 cragers are fairly New, the tires should be changed. They have tubes in them. The sunvisors are there but old and I think the fuel gauge is off alittle. PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING, NOT AFTER BIDDING !!!!!!! Connecticut uses title and registration as one. The ownership transfer is done on the back side of the registration//title in the Buyers section. Also a Bill of sale with come with it. Please feel free to bring your mechanic and inspect the car to be sure it meets all your expectations. This description is mearly my opinion. Everyone has different expectations. I'm sure with the age of the car the mileage has been over. Selling as is. 300.00 deposit is due immediately following the auction end. Balance due within 5 days.
