Each vehicle is thoroughly road tested before being listed on eBay so I can tell you first hand how it looks, runs and drives. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Every vehicle is sold "as-is/as-traded". Please take the time to read this entire description carefully and review each photo closely. I am not a mechanic. I take dozens of photos and tell you as much as I know about each vehicle. Every vehicle is represented accurately to the best of my ability. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a great looking 1992 Ford F-150 4x4 pickup truck. This truck comes with the desirable 8' bed. I would rate the exterior condition of this truck to be ABOVE AVERAGE for the age and miles. The red paint has a mile deep shine and looks good from any angle with very few blemishes. There is a small crack in the paint on the drivers door and some small scratches and scrapes here and there. This truck does not have nearly as much rust as you'd expect from an older Ford. There is some rust on the rockers and cab corners but the body looks good otherwise. The chrome shows very well. Additionally, this truck has a factory bedliner and factory mud guards. The alloy wheels look great and are wrapped in nearly new tires all around. All of the glass and lenses are intact. There is a small chip in the windshield. It is above the AS1 line and should not be an inspection issue but consult your local mechanic before taking my word on that. I would rate the condition of the interior of this truck to also be ABOVE AVERAGE. The door panels are clean as are the carpets and headliner. The seats shows very well and is comfortable. Being an XLT trim truck, this F-150 has power windows/locks/mirrors. LIke most older Ford's, the power locks are DOA. The radio is original and sounds good. The heater blows only on high (needs a resistor which is cheap). The original owners books are included. I cannot get the passengers door to open. I'm sure it's something simple...I just don't have time to fiddle with it. Mechanically, this truck seems to be in good running order. This truck has the famous huge Ford six cylinder engine which starts easily and runs smoothly. The engine does not smoke and I did not see any leaks. The check engine light is on ( I don't have the tool to read codes on OBD1 vehicles). The engine keeps a normal temperature and oil pressure is good. Overall, this truck drives pretty darn good for a quarter million miles. The steering is tight and responsive. The brakes are good...a little grabby...but it's been a long time since I've driven one of these. Overall road manners are good. Like any older truck, she has a little vibration at highway speeds. The clutch does not slip and the transmission does not grind. I noticed that the muffler has a hole on the outside...but it doesn't sound loud. Another thing I noticed is that the emergency brake does not seem to be connected. Otherwise, not a bad older pickup. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
