Notes: There are some items which no longer function or need attention: . Cruise control: (doesn’t work / problem isolated to the servo) . Power Antenna: inoperative . Tempmatic temperature control: (the temp lever now directly controls the ‘air blend’ door / like the standard system) .Trip odometer: the hundreds digit doesn’t completely roll into place . Windshield washer: inoperative . Theft deterrent system: disconnected . Left front speaker/amplifier: occasionally makes popping noise . A/C compressor oil leak: the compressor seal should be replaced This slight leak has not affected the cooling capacity of the system. Rear Brake System Conversion: The factory rear disk brakes (std. equipment) were trouble prone from day one. This was a GM design issue. They would not self adjust causing the brake pedal to quickly get low. The parking brake would not work and the calipers would eventually leak. I converted the rear disk brakes to conventional drum brakes using all new parts (except for the backing plates). The disk/drum setup provides better stopping power, the brake pedal is always high and the parking brake works without trouble.
