Vehicle Detail

PLEASE READ ENTIRE LISTING BEFORE BIDDING! I WILL DESCRIBE EVERY ASPECT OF THE CAR, FLAWS AND ALL. I HAVE POSTED ALMOST 100 PICTURES THAT SHOW EVERY INCH OF THE CAR. Very heavily optioned 2002 SS in immaculate show winning condition. This car is a time capsule and appears brand new on the inside and out. There was absolutely no expense spared when this car was built. Every aspect of this car was improved with the highest quality aftermarket parts available. This car drives far better than any 4th generation Camaro period. The car was built for occasional weekend track days but has only seen a few. The best ¼ mile time was 11.8 at 118mph I will do my best to include all of the improvements on this car but I am sure that I will leave a few out. Exterior: The exterior of the car remains mostly stock. The only non-GM item on the outside is the gloss black rear tail panel to match the front SLP grille. The anniversary stripes are real GM stripes. The factory options on the outside of the car include the SLP front SS grille and Chrome 10 Spoke 17” wheels. The headlights are the stock units with upgraded HID bulbs and ballasts. The car has had some paint work on the passenger side. It was in a VERY minor accident. The left front fender door and quarter panel were repainted as a result. I am extremely picky about paint work and I was unable to see the areas that were painted. Please look at the pictures. I am sure that you will agree that the car is spotless. Interior: The interior of the car remains mostly stock as well. The only hint that this car is something special is the gauge pod on the drivers side a-pillar. The car has a factory Hurst shifter with a shortened shift handle. The stock handle will be included as well. The condition of the interior is far better than any I have seen. The leather appears new with only very slight wrinkles from sitting in the drivers seat. The Stereo sounds great and the car has the optional CD changer. Engine: This is where the fun begins. The factory engine has been built to over 505HP by Lamar Walden Performance in Doraville GA. See: http://www.lamarwaldenautomotive.com for more info on the quality of work that went into this build. The build is based off of their CNC ported Corvette Z06 Cylinder heads. The bottom end remains 5.7 liters with an aluminum LS6 block. The cam is a custom profile picked specifically for this engine and has a very aggressive sound without shaking the car apart. The engine has all top of the line parts including a high volume oil pump, Hardened pushrods and titanium valvetrain. Stainless Dynatech headers with catted Y-pipe flow all the way to the back and exit through GMMG Chambered exhaust. This engine sounds amazing! It pulls extremely hard and revs very freely. It has been fully dyno tuned and has perfect drivability! Transmission and Drivetrain: The Factory clutch was replaced with a Mcleod dual disc clutch. The factory plastic master cylinder was replaced with the Mcleod billet aluminum clutch master cylinder to provide enough volume for the dual disc clutch. The transmission itself was built by Tick performance to their stage 2 build which will hold 600 rwtq. The flimsy factory 10 bolt was removed in favor of a Chrome Moly Moser built 12 bolt with 4.11 gears. Suspension: The suspension on the car was fully upgraded to complement the engine and drivetrain. The rear suspension has fully boxed rear Edelbrock lower control arms, Edelbrock panhard bar, Edelbrock Torque arm. The front has an Edelbrock Strut tower brace. The Struts are the Factory SLP Optioned Koni Adjustables. These shocks and struts are hands down the best ride and performance you can get for these cars. The springs are the SLP Eibach springs with a ½ inch spacer in the rear. The subframe connectors have been professionally welded in to strengthen the chassis of the car. The suspension is firm but not at all harsh. The car really sticks to the road and hooks the power really well. Brakes: The front brakes are C5 Corvette calipers and rotors. The calipers are custom calipers that have been powdercoated in red with Camaro SS engraved on the front instead of Corvette. The rear Calipers have also been powdercoated to match. An SLP Line lock has been installed as well. For those of you who prefer a list of the modifications: · CNC Ported Z06 heads · Custom cam profile · Hardened Pushrods · Titanium valvetrain · High Volume oil pump · LS6 intake · Under drive pulley · MSD Wires and NGK plugs · Blackwing Lid · Stainless Dynatech headers with cats · GMMG Chambered exhaust with oval tips · SLP Smooth bellows · SLP Flowpac cold air system · Mcleod Dual Disc clutch · Lightweight aluminum flywheel · Mcleod Billet clutch master · Lakewood drive shaft loop · Tick Stage 2 transmission · Moser 12 Bolt Differential with aluminum support cover and 4.11 gears · Koni Adjustable Shocks and Struts · SLP Eibach springs · Edelbrock Rear Lower control arms · Edelbrock Panhard bar · Edelbrock Torque arm · Edelbrock strut tower brace · Edelbrock subframe connectors welded in. · Autometer Sport Comp gauges(fuel pressure, Water temp and shift light) · Hurst shifter with short handle · Custom C5 Corvette front brakes · Powdercoated calipers with Camaro SS engraved in place of Corvette · SLP Line lock I am sure that I have left out some but you get the idea. There is nothing left to finish on this car. Every system has been fully upgraded to support the additional power RELIABLY! The car only has 28k miles and is better than new in many ways.
