This is a rare, 1948 Packard Woody Wagon. We purchased this classic 4 years ago from a well known classic dealer in California, where the car had been stored for most of the last 20 years. The wagon has no rust, the chrome is in good condition with nearly no pitting. We believe the paint is original, and is in good condition for its age. The Woody starts right up and runs well, although the gearshift mechanism could use a cleaning and lubrication. We purchased this car with the intent of restoring it ourselves, but can't seem to find the time to complete the job, hence some of the wood has been restored already, and some still needs to be redone. All wood pieces are complete and can be copied for patterns if you wish for total restoration. Interior drivers side door panel has been misplaced as of now, we hope to find it, but just in case we don't, we are letting you know. The tires are wide white walls in good condition. We will be happy to provide any additional or specific photos or information at your request. This is a lovely car and just needs some more restoration in order to be a high value collector car.
