This car is in great condition and driven daily. This car was restored years ago but still looks, runs, and drives out great. It has new tires, battery, brakes, recently tuned up at Mercedes shop, new fuel pumps, new gas tank, cold AC with 134, good heat, front end aligned. We drive this car locally on a regular basis, and have had it on the road for trips several times and it does great. It runs smooth, transmission shifts great, front end feels good, and brakes stop great. The red paint is in great condition but does have a few small chips or dings but you have to look close to even find them and the car does not have any rust on it at all. The interior is original and still in great condition. The odometer shows 12,000 miles but the title is checked true miles unknown because it is over 20 years old. It does drive like a low mile car. It has a salvage title but we or the Mercedes shop that does our work can find any signs of where it has ever had any damage, or body filler so it was fixed right if it ever had any damage. We enjoy driving this car and hate to sell it but we need a bigger car with a back seat so our granddaughter can ride with us. We have had this car to several local cruise ins and it has always drawn a lot of attention and shown well. The car wasn't detailed out, or even cleaned up good in the pictures so it looks even better now than in the pictures. The car has always been garage kept. On Feb-02-12 at 12:58:37 PST, seller added the following information: I added some more pictures that will better show the front, sides, under the hood, inside the doors, and trunk. It's hard to say if the right front fender has ever been replaced but the pictures should show that the area around the fender doesn't show any signs of damage. I'll try to get some from under the car this weekend when I can get it on a lift to take them.On Feb-02-12 at 17:55:14 PST, seller added the following information: We change oil every 3,000 miles and don't have to add any between changes. The transmission was serviced last summer. The tune up was done at a Mercedes shop about 4 months ago and included setting up the fuel injection, new fuel pumps (presure was a little low), new gas tank (they found some rust flakes in the filter and we didn't want to take any chance of them getting in the injection system), new fuel filter, plugs, cap, rotor, replace vac lines, and air filter. My wife drives this car most of the time and we drive it when we go on trips so we didn't want to take any chances of having any trouble with it on the road. On Feb-02-12 at 18:36:58 PST, seller added the following information: The cooling system was flushed, waterpump, hoses and belts were replaced as needed, and the alternator was rebuilt in September. On Feb-04-12 at 04:25:12 PST, seller added the following information: In the under hood pictures the the red body panel in front of the radiator looks like it's a diffferant color red than the rest of the car but it was just dusty/road film so I cleaned it off and added another picture to show it matches.See the close up of the fender and the panel. It wasn't noticable looking at it and I didn't notice it until someone ask about it. If anyone has any other questions or wants to see pictures of anything just let me know. It's a daily driver and I didn't detail it out under the hood but you can see it is clean other than normal road film and dust. I do have the under hood insulation matt for the car and it's in great condition and goes with the car. It was hanging down in a few places so I removed it and forgot about not putting it back until someone ask about it.On Feb-04-12 at 04:39:53 PST, seller added the following information: The black square thing on the passenger side of the console is just a cup holder, not a speaker. It has 4 speakers with two in the original locations in the dash and two mounted in the rear deck. I have the original covers for the ones in the dash if you like them better. It is raining here today so I took them under the carport and the wet area under the car is rain water draining off the carport. I just stuck the camera under the car and took them but they turned out pretty good.
