Vehicle Detail
1956 Cadillac 75 Fleetwood (Limousine)365 V8 Automatic, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Windows, Power Front SeatDual Airconditioning Front and Rear39,058 Original MilesClear Ohio TitleOnly about 1055 producedWhite with Teal Blue InteriorBody in decent shape, no body rot or holes, but an 8 yr old Paint Job which cleans up nice Body work is starting to come thru in spotsFloors and trunk floor are solidNo Chrome is missingBumpers could use some rechroming All Stainless Trim in Good ShapeOriginal Gauges/Radio and Autronic Eye.I had gotten the car delivered here from Florida around Jan 2011 andI was told the car runs nice, I tried to start it and it wouldnt start,so I installed a new battery and the car started right up easliy.I haven't driven the car on the road, after I put a battery in it I pulled it straight into the garage and had plans to restore the carbut times were tough and other things came about, so I had pulled the car in and out of the garage over the summer so I can work in my garageand just never had the time to play with My Caddy. So it has been sitting back inside my garage since August and it won't start again when i tried itin Early November. Don't have the time and I am now selling this car.Being I live in Lovely Snowy Cold Ohio, my garage isnt heated and this car just barely fits inside my garage and just no room to work on it.If I get it running I will let you know depending on the weather here andif I am not working so late and get free time. This car did sit for 2yrs inFlorida and the Guy told me he started it often but didnt drive it for 2yrsand I have only drove it in my driveway. This car really just needs someone who has the time to drain all the fluids / change the oil and just do a full tune up on her and she will probably start right up like it did in the summer.Brakes should be checked also since it has sat for a few years.Being I am in a small personal Limo Business, I really need the money, butmight consider a trade of a newer Limousine or A Model T Touring or anyantique car between 1900-1932 in a Convertable or Touring. Let me know what you got but I perfer MONEY, I might Consider money plus a car, if your car is what i am looking for. The winning bidder must deposit $500Via Pay Pal within 48 hrs after this Auction Ends. And the balance MUST be paid within 7 days after deposit is made. Also there is NO Warrenties or Guranttes and this car is being SOLD AS-IS Any questions, please ask and I will try to get back to you ASAP,but i do work long hours, so I may not get back to you until evening hours.Thank You. On Jan-27-12 at 08:28:08 PST, seller added the following information: May also consider an old Ford Huckster Truck on trade also.On Jan-27-12 at 12:12:59 PST, seller added the following information: This model did not come with the division window but one can clearly be added. On Jan-28-12 at 06:16:21 PST, seller added the following information: Update, I worked on getting the car running, snow again falling down and cold, I charged the battery because of the car sitting, primed the carb and it started right up, but then it died out. Primed the carb again and as long as i held my foot on the pedal, it sounded fine, but then it would die out, so now I think all along it maybe either, fuel pump or carb related, or the gas tank just needs drained and fresh gas put it. Hope this helps the winning bidder. I did lower my reserve but even my reserve before was very fair. Check on ebay or even your local parts store, fuel pumps are inexpensive as are the carbs or carb rebuilt kits. ThanksOn Jan-29-12 at 08:51:18 PST, seller added the following information: Please check out my Youtube Videoat BMZ CLASSICS, (The Arrival ) and you will see this Cadillac when it came to its new home in Ohio On Feb-03-12 at 12:40:09 PST, seller added the following information: I went outside and worked on the Caddy a little bit.Turned the key and it started right up, but, while i try to press the gas pedal,it sounds like its sucking air and then the motor tries to die out. So i let the car idle for about20 minutes. When i put the car in gear to drive it, it will coast, but when u press the gas pedal,it wanted to die out but not as bad after i let the car idle for 20 minutes. I drove the car down the driveway but it tries to die out at the same time, ONLY, when the gas pedal is compressed. SoI am thinking, vacumme lines, or carb may need rebuilt. Rebuild kits are available here on ebayat a cheap price. If i order one, and rebuild it myself, then, the car price will go back up. So I willlower my reserve another $100 for the trouble.
