I have had this truck for many many years! I hate to see it go but times are what they are... 1978 Chevy 4x4 Has NOT seen a dirt road in at least 13 years and never wheeled! Not even driven in rain in the last 10 years! Has had about 150-250 miles per year since 2002! 406 SBC 400 block and crank 5.7" rods with Fordged Pistons 292 Grind Cam Roller Rockers Single Plane Manifold Holley 670 MSD Ignition with Limiter Ceramic Coated Headers Mandrell Bent 2.5" Exhaust with HANDMADE Flowmaster Box Mufflers (i used to work in r&d @ flowmaster) TH350 Trans with stage 2 trasgo shift kit 203 TCase with mile marker part time kit 12 bolt with auburn posi in rear dana 44 with auburn posi in front Warn Premium Hubs Alcoa 15x12 polished wheels NEW 35" Maxxis Tires 8" Suspension NO BODY LIFT 6" Front Springs with 2" shacles and 4" rear Springs with 4" Blocks Air Bags with on board air compressor and tank VIPER Alarm Pioneer Deck with two amps, seperates in the doors, and 12s behind the seat Floor has original style insulation and carpet and the rubber floor cover Tilt steering column Aluminum Wheel Autometer Monster Tach Spray in Bed liner Truck was stripped to metal and painted 19 years ago. Then after replacing the hood with a cowl and a fender (was backed into) I had it completely stripped and repainted in 2003 with Dupont Chromabase and the "gentelman" did not properly etch a couple spots that got glaze coat (see pictures). There is NO RUST and NO BONDO!!!!! Stainless trim and bed caps This thing is fast and awesome looking! This truck drives PERFECT and could be driven anywhere!
