I have lowered the reserve to sell this wonderful Hummer! This is truly a collectors item that will only appreciate in value. You will not be disappointed! -- Happy bidding! Up for auction is a very rare factory bodied Slantback H1 Hummer. Only 39 Slantbacks were released into the public before the body style was discontinued. I have the original widow sticker for this rare Slantback, which indicates at the bottom that this Hummer came from the AM General Marketing Prototypes Division. This factory Slantback is in excellent condition and is truly a rare truck, as stated before only 39 were ever produced and they are all 2000 year models. Compare that to the 2002 10th anniversary limited edition where 65 were produced in the common wagon body style. Watch out for Slantback conversions; if it’s not a 2000 year model or doesn’t have body code 91 in the VIN number, then it’s not a factory produced Slantback. The most common body style converted is the 4-door hardtop (HMC4), which is body code 83. Any search you do on a real Slantback should indicate HMSB as the body designation from AM General. This truck has real Goodyear MT’s installed. If you have been looking for 16.5” tires, you know real Goodyear MT’s are hard to find. Believe me, I paid out the ying-yang for them. No cheap sidewall splitting Unicures or Chinese knockoffs here! This Slantback has brand new factory Hummer embossed leather covers installed on all four seats and a new factory leather wrapped steering wheel. Also all the carpet has been replaced with brand new factory pieces as well as the rear A/C cover. The truck is truly like new. This Slantback has the appearance of being stock, but has many performance and off-road upgrades. The CPU has been reprogrammed to deliver maximum power and still maintain efficiency. The stock waste gate has been replaced by the "Turbo Master" upgrade kit which provides adjustable boost levels. Also the stock exhaust has been upgraded to a stainless steel 4” diameter system and the lift pump replaced with a high output version. These upgrades work in conjunction with the CPU upgrade for better performance. No expense spared in maintaining, restoring and upgrading this truck. I have receipts totaling over $36k since I purchased the truck. I am the second owner of this truck and you will not find a better factory Slantback Hummer. This truck is a street queen and has always been garaged. I've had it off-road a few of times on what you would call a 'Scenic Trail' but never anything extreme. This Hummer is just too rare to take any chances. This truck has been meticulously maintained, and although mileage has never warranted it, a full Class C service has been performed at least annually, if not more frequent. Notice heavy duty CTIS shields and real Goodyear MT’s on the new 2000 style two-piece wheels. These new style wheels have an alignment hole to insure that both halves are aligned the same during wheel reassembly when changing a tire. All four wheels have Hutchinson bead locks. Left Side. The beautiful silver paint has an incredible shine and is in remarkable condition given its age and mileage. There are a few small blemishes, but nothing that detracts from the overall presence. The Slantback body is truly the most unique, aggressively styled Hummer, which is based on the military M1025 HMMWV. Right Side. Notice SS pre-cleaner, light bar and new style mirrors make their first appearance. These mirrors were first fitted on the 2000 model Slantbacks only. Only one of 39 factory Slantbacks. Very unique to the Slantback are the temperature compensating springs that provide rear hatch lift at two different holding heights. Through the hatch. The Slantback interior is open to the cargo area in the rear. Plenty of cargo space for any kind of trip. In addition, the 5' roof rack provides amble space to tie down any extras. All Open. What a sight to see…. Stainless Steel 4" Exhaust is far less restrictive than the factory exhaust and works great with the upgraded CPU. Also gives you that sweet turbo sound! All factory Slantbacks have rear window wiper, washer and defrost controls. Correct military stone light guards made for the HMMWV. These are absolutely rock solid, very thick and ridged. Not the flimsy aftermarket junk you find on Jeeps! With nearly 3” standoffs, I think this guard could take a brick thrown at it without damage. The headlights have also been upgraded to halogen lamps that provide superior lighting compared to the stock incandescent lamps. Stainless Steel Centri Precleaner air intake mounted on an 8" snorkel to prevent water entering the intake during deep fording. The precleaner itself has an impeller inside that spins when air is drawn up from the bottom when the engine is running. Heavier particulate matter in the air is thrown out a side exit before entering the filter. Light Bar. Lights are configured in three sets of two. Each group has a designated focal point for optimum visibility at night. Remote mounted PMD in the drivers side front wheel well. This provides maximum cooling for the PMD module. The cockpit. Left Rear Door Panel. All the door panels are like new, as well as all interior panels. Left Rear Seat. Brand New Leather Seats all the way around. Right Front Door Panel. Interior tunnel panels are new. Under the hood. Everything is very clean and detailed. Brand new belts, hoses and filters.
