Up for auction is my beautiful, adult owned 1984 Mazda RX7 gsl-se. It is in very nice condition for its age. The paint has a very nice gloss. There are some minor imperfections that can be viewed in the pictures, or the attached video. The drivers side rocker panel is the only spot I could find that has rust. The interior is very presentable.The 13b (135hp) fuel injected rotary engine runs very well and starts on the hottest, and coldest days. All emissions equipment is still in tact along with the sub-zero starting system (not used). The 5 speed manual transmission does its job, but does make a little noise in the first 3 gears. Shifter bushings will need to be replaced. The factory rear differential (4.07 gear ratio) works just fine. factory oversized 4 wheel disc brakes work as they should. The master cylinder has a very slow leak. The car needs new front struts which I will include in the sale. It drives fine, but the tires are wearing choppy. The fuel gauge is not accurate, and the oil pressure gauge does not work. It does have a valid PA safety inspection until 9/2012. It is one of the few remaining rx7s with a quiet exhaust system, and a catalytic converter. The hose for the 6pi is not attached. It does come with the car. A/C is intact, but could use a charge. Cruise control and all other options work as they should. I have a styrofoam cooler full of maintenance records and manuals about the car. Overall I would rate this car a strong 7/10. It does need some TLC, but is very nice in its current condition. Please ask any questions! I currently have the car in storage for the winter. Please look at the car before bidding.
