Over $20k spent on 8 month restoration project. Complete engine out, bumpers and trim off strip and repaint done in the original cream including engine bay. New metal welded in the few spots there was rust. Engine was overhauled including valve job, crank bearings, performance 1750 Euro cams. Fuel tank and both fuel pumps new, fuel system completely gone through. Plugs, wires, coil, all new. Converted to electronic ignition, fuel injection gone through and tuned. The radiator has been cleaned and re-done. All wiring has been re-done, everything works perfectly. New clutch slave cylinder, recent tires, original Turbina wheels available. Exhaust new with older style iron headers and 1 muffler deleted, sounds awesome. Roll bar installed. 10 miles or less on the motor since restoration complete. Pulls very hard and is very fast. 1-2 synchro is great, 3-4 is a little rubbery until warm then is fine; all others great. All work done by Besic Motorsports.Condition: Very good condition inside and out; Paint, interior, bumpers, and chrome. The seats, door panels, and carpeting are original but very clean. There is a small tear on the passenger seat bottom right side. The seat frames and foam are solid and supportive. The Top is brand new. Must see to appreciate. To re-build it and paint the bay. - Did I really spend $20k? No, MUCH MORE, just stopped counting. - Is it a show car? No, but probably the cleanest driver around. - Did it have rust before? Yes, hence the sheet metal repairs. - Does it have rust now? Maybe, but I can't find any more to repair. - Why didn't I rebuild the trans? It shifted well enough, sorry. - Was it undercoated? Maybe not before, but it is now. - Any flaws? Yes, small drivers front jack point area had some rust removed and no metal installed because it wasn't structurally or cosmetically relevant; can't get it to show up in pictures. Also, small area behind right headlight in engine bay straightened but not perfect. - Can you come out, inspect and drive it? Absolutely, please call first and bring a Drivers License, Insurance Card and permission from your wife, mommy, etc. - Will I end auction early for the right offer?
