For sale is a 1949 white MG YT Roadster This YT is a b282 body type, 15 inch matching steel wheels, full choke system with a standard transmission, 1.25L four cylinder motor, and one of the earliest known versions of Lucas competition ignition wires. MG's self service inspired "Jack all" on board jack system.with the control located on the fire wall this YT has the ability to lift its self up from 4 points of the chassis for easy access and maintenance. Which was rebuilt 4 years ago The MG “Y” Type had an extremely high standard of interior furnishing and finish, in accordance with the best British Traditions. This YT is a b282 body type designed with a MG TD chassis and TD motor. In other words meaning that this car got the best of both worlds. the sporty chassis and motor that MG was known for and the best of elegance in styling that they had to offer. This White Roadster fallows very closely to the MG factory standards. It has been well kept and serviced by the best in vintage British automotive restoration. in recent service it got a new fuel pump and the fuel reservoir was cleaned and restored to pristine functionality. It is missing a trunk panel and has one minor rust spot under the the car. Only 877 of these cars were produced when production ceased in 1950.
