The LeBaron was the top of the line model and was the model produced in the fewest numbers (only 1,026 units). Most of these cars made it only to the junk heap, but this car was lovingly cared for all of its life. This car was maintained by two caring owners and spent most of its life in a climate controlled garage. . It was kept in impeccable mechanical and cosmetic condition. This car is a beautiful specimen. It is one the prettiest 50+ year old cars that you will ever see. The paint was resprayed in the original color and is in beautiful shape. This car causes oohs and ahs everywhere it goes. It is the authentic original color. The interior of the car is a beautiful pearlescent silver with the correct light grey mohair inserts and people are always commenting on how unusual and beautiful the color combination looks. The paint is in really nice condition with no dings, scratches or rust. The interior of the car is incredible. It has to be one of the nicest mostly original interiors in existence. This car has stainless steel roof coves and they are really nice.The seats were authentically restored and look great, showing no wear. The door panels are original and look perfect. The carpeting is excellent showing no wear. The headliner and sun visors are original and are in nice shape. This car has one of the most unusual and beautiful dashboards ever made, and it is in excellent condition. It just doesn’t get any nicer in a 50 year old car. The car is equipped with power brakes, power steering, 6-way power seats, power windows, power antenna, power vent windows, beautiful working signal seeking radio, and still has the original clock. The factory wheel covers are in nice shape. The car runs superbly. It has beautiful correct wide white tires that are in really nice condition. The car is equipped with a 413.2 cubic inch overhead valve engine that sports 350 horsepower. The engine is extremely quiet and purrs as it travels down the road at 80 mph. This is one of the best engines ever made and it has most of its life still in front of it. It has less than 64,000 miles, and is not even broken in yet. The wheelbase on the car is 149.5 inches and can really seat 6 people comfortably and could hold another 3 lying side by side in the trunk for those of you that still try to sneak extra people into the Drive-in. This is a very rare and unusual car that was maintained so well you can't believe that it is almost 52 years old. The trunk carpeting was redone and is in excellent condition. The engine compartment is completely authentic and is in excellent condition also. It is definitely good enough to pass the scrutiny of local car show judging. The chrome on the car shines but it is not perfect. The overall bright work on the vehicle will need some work if you want to show it nationally. The car has the original owners manual. The factory air conditioning was recently worked on but is not blowing cold. This car has won many trophies at local car shows.
