DESCRIPTION: This Samurai has many upgrades. Most of the mechanical work and general upgrades were done in California by PETROWORKS, an aftermarket and service center parts manufacturer, so every upgrade was professionally done for a complete rust-free off-frame restoration. This is not a salvaged vehicle. I have it receipts dating back, and the original owners manual which I will include with the Suzuki. Work done in the last 7 months include an inpection, synthetic-oil change, new timing belt and other belts. This Suzuki was upgraded around a 1987 Suzuki Samurai JX chassis. I find that the metal on the '87 is thicker, more like an early Jeep. The odometer reads low, but for its age its true reading should be over 106,000. miles. (Cars 10 years and older are considered as "exceeding their mechanical limits"). It has a new radiator installed in 2010, new Shockworks bumpers, as well as other modifications and upgrades listed below. It's sporty belies its smooth ride. Eight months ago I moved to South Florida and needed transportation to get around while I looked for a place to settle. I've owned Samurais before and found them reliable. I'm settled now and realize that I don't need a 4X4 in South Florida, and no opportunity to go off-roading. I did take a long trip soon after owning it and the car handled flawlessly with no issues. It has a 15 gallon gas tank and gets excellent mileage. Not intended for commuting, this is a fun car. This UT is ready to go off-road, tackle dunes, and turn heads while cruising with the top down. The Chromed wheels and body trim makes this Samurai stand-out without looking gaudy. Since July 1,2000, Florida as well as other states has abolished the auto emission test requirement for all vehicles, so no record of emission testing exists. Nevertheless, this vehicle runs clean and should be smog-legal in any state.There are small tears in the drivers seat, and seams that have become separated in a couple of places as can be seen in two of the photos. Other than that, the Interior is clean. The Exterior is also in almost mint condition, but for a small area at the tip of the chrome on the left door that has become un-glued. This Suzuki is rust-free and has no dents. It has hairline scratches on the exterior paint due to normal use. I have listed this SAMURAI at a relatively low Starting and Buy it Now price.
