Each vehicle is thoroughly road tested before being listed on eBay so I can tell you first hand how it looks, runs and drives. Vehicles are available for test drives and inspections by appointment only at my York, PA storage facility. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Please take the time to read this entire description and review each photo in detail before bidding. I am not a mechanic but I take dozens of photos and tell you everything I know about each vehicle I sell to represent them as accurately as possible to the best of my ability. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1995 Dodge Dakota SLT. This Dakota is trimmed with the SLT package which gives it some nicer features than you get on a base Dakota. Also, it has the extended cab and a nice sized bed which make this a very desirable truck. I would rate the exterior of this truck to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and miles on this truck. The two tone red/gray exterior looks pretty good. Up close, you can see some signs of normal wear such as small scratches, dings and some blemishes on the hood. There is a very, very small spot of rust at the right rear fender. All in all, I would say this truck is in pretty good shape for the miles. The alloy wheels and oversized tires give it a nice look. The tires have good tread all around. I believe this truck has a small body lift (maybe 3"). The top doesn't match but does its job I suppose. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. I would rate the interior of this Dakota to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and miles of the truck. The interior is showing normal wear as you would expect from a truck with over 200k miles. The arm rest has a rip in the fabric at the seam. The seats aren't in bad shape but are showing some age...the carpets, too. The cloth to the headliner has been removed. This is normal as most of these sag over time. This Dakota is pretty well optioned, too. It has power windows and locks. The stereo is original and working fine. The heater works well...no idea if the a/c works anymore. Again, not a bad truck for the miles. Mechanically, this Dakota appears to be in good running condition. The 3.9L V6 engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks. The engine keeps a nice, steady temperature and the oil pressure is good. Other than being in desperate need of lower ball joints, the suspension and steering feel okay. The brakes stop the truck well. This Dakota has the towing package, too. Out on the highway, she runs pretty strong. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts well. The 4WD system is tested and working. Again, she isn't the newest or best looking truck out there...but it does feel pretty good. The only thing I know of that it will need immediately are a pair of lower ball joints ($35/ea + about 3 hours). Not too bad for an older truck.
