Each vehicle is thoroughly road tested before being listed on eBay so I can tell you first hand how it looks, runs and drives. Vehicles are available for inspection and test drives by appointment only at my York, PA storage facility. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Please take the time to read this entire description carefully before bidding...including reviewing all available photos as they are part of the vehicle description. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1996 GMC Jimmy SLE. This Jimmy comes in the two door sport version and is pretty nicely optioned as far as these trucks are concerned. I would rate the exterior condition of this GMC to be BELOW AVERAGE for the age and miles of this vehicle. There are several small dents, scratches and scuffs to be found as you walk around this truck. Additionally, there are a few spots of rust and a small spot of patchwork. The tires are on the low side of average and show wear on the outside of the fronts. The alloy wheels are in great condition. All of the glass and lenses appear to be in tact. Another important thing to note is that the doors do not sag on this one. This truck is far from front line material but would make a great winter truck, hunting truck or just a handy vehicle to throw stuff in and not have to worry about messing up an expensive vehicle. I would rate the condition of the interior of this Jimmy to also be in BELOW AVERAGE condition. Really, the only thing bad about the interior is that the carpets are a little dirty and show some stains. I would guess that an afternoons worth of work would make them clean again. The carpets do not show excessive wear...just some stains. The seats are not torn at all. The door panels are clean and in tact. This Jimmy is equipped with power windows, locks and mirrors. The factory remote entry is working properly. This one is also equipped with a factory CD player which is unusual to find in the early ones. The original owners manual is included, also. Mechanically, this Jimmy appears to be in fair condition. The 4.3L engine starts easily but runs rough. A tune up on one of these will set you back about $100 and should make a world of difference. The engine holds perfect oil pressure and good temperature. The suspension feels good and the brakes stop the truck well. The 4WD system is tested and working properly. The transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. The vehicle does have a PA reconstructed title. I am not sure of the history of the vehicle so please don't ask. A Pennsylvania Reconstructed Title is not easy to get. The inspection a rebuilt vehicle must pass before being issues a reconstructed title is very difficult.
