1981 Jeep Scrambler CJ8 304 engine with 3 speed manual transmission all jeep. This jeep is very straight, runs and drives very good even starts and idles in cold weather as it should other than you have to pat the gas pedal a few times to crank. The jeep has had extensive body work over 14k invested in this jeep. The carpet and seats are new as well. Jeep has almost new tires, new bumpers, flow master exhaust etc.... Jeep also has a warn 8000 winch and nice working CD player All gauges and heater works as it should. Jeep IS NOT A SHOW PIECE. However it is very nice and does need a few things. Door hinges are new but the dont fit well and need somebody that knows what they are doing align or maybe the best thing to do is replace them back to OEM. Needs new rubber installed between cowl and windshield. although jeep spent 3 years in body shop being restored and the body turned out great the floor pan replacement was put in sections instead of entire pan this left some rust still underneath jeep mounts and pan rails please see pics It is not A perfect job that has been done there but not noticable without crawling under jeep. also there are some chips/scratches that have been put in jeep where hinges are due to the fact of trying to get doors to line up please see pics as I point this out. Frame is solid however there is one place that does have scaling but feels solid see pic as I have pointed this out, also there has been one frame repair on pass side see pic I have pointed this out as well but is very solid and looks good as well. I have listed this Jeep for a close friend who has had this jeep for last 12 years I have TN title in hand He is just ready to sell it and move on to new project. These things are hard to find and ther have been lots of $$$$$ put into this one. Please look at all pics and ask all questions or call 828- seven seven nine 8691.
