Each vehicle I sell is thoroughly road tested before being listed on eBay so I can tell you first hand how it looks, runs and drives. Vehicles are available to be seen by appointment only at my York, PA storage facility. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Please take the time to read this ENTIRE description and review each photo in detail before bidding or asking questions. All vehicles are sold "as-is" and "as-traded". I include many photos and as much information as I know about each vehilce which is why reading the description is so important. I disclose everything I know in an effort to represent each vehicle as accurately as possible to the best of my ability but I am not a mechanic. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1996 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme SL coupe. The Cutlass Supreme is a great vehicle that offers V6 power, full size room and great fuel economy in a good looking package. I would rate the exterior of this Cutlass to be in BELOW AVERAGE condition. This car isn't bad on the eyes. The white finish shines well and looks pretty good for its age. Up close you can see a few older deep scratches with exposed metal. Overall the body looks good. Alloy wheels, side moldings and a rear spoiler give this Cutlass a sporty look. The tires are average all around. There is a small chip in the windshield...the rest of the glass is intact. There is a significant amount of rust on the undercarriage of this Olds. I've seen worse...but it is pretty bad. This car is PA inspected through June/2012. It will NOT pass PA inspection due to the rust under the car. If you live in a state that does not require inspections...this car runs and drives great. If you know a "buddy" who can slip it through...perfect. It runs and drives great...but it will cost more than the car is worth to make it pass PA inspection the right way. I do not have a lift or a means to photograph the underside. This information came to me from my mechanic who replaced two to the brake lines. He said it was "pretty bad". I would rate the interior of this Olds to be in AVERAGE condition. The seats and carpets show a little wear but show well and are comfortable. The door panels are tight. The headliner is clean and tight, too. This Olds is equipped with power windows, locks and mirrors. The stereo system is the original equippment which sounds great. The climate control system appears to be working properly. Another great thing about these cars is the huge amount of trunk space you get... Mechanically, this Cutlass Supreme appears to be in good running condition. The 3.1L V6 starts easily and runs smoothly. The engine does not smoke and I did not notice any leaks. The SES light is on (rear oxygen sensor) and the ABS light is on (no idea why). During my time driving this car, it has shown excellent road manners. The engine keeps proper temperature. The suspension feels nice and tight. The brakes stop the car easily. The steering is tight and responsive, too. The transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. Out on the highway, this car cruises nice and easy...no shakes, rattles or pulling. Like I said, this is a great runing/driving car that has plenty of miles to give its next owner.
