Each vehicle is thoroughly road tested before being listed on eBay so I can tell you first hand how it looks, runs and drives. Vehicles are available for test drives and inspections by appointment only at my York, PA storage facility. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Please take the time to read this entire description carefully and review each photo in detail before bidding. I am not a mechanic but I take lots of photos and tell you everything I know about every vehicle in an effort to accurately represent each vehichle I sell to the best of my ability. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a very nice 1995 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT. The Dodge Ram is one if my favorite trucks available. I buy and sell more Dodge pick-ups than I do Ford and GM combined. I would rate the exterior condition of this Ram to be ABOVE AVERAGE for the age and miles of this vehicle. The dark green paint looks good and has a nice deep shine. There is some paint chipping on the roof and some covered up rust on the rear bumper...but that's about it. Dodge trucks are known for body rust issues but this one looks pretty clean. I didn't see any body rust at any of the usual areas (fenders, doors, gate and rockers). Additionally, this truck has a nice fiberglass side step and fender flare kit which really gives it a nice look. The wheels are American Racing and the tires have good tread all around. The glass and lenses are all intact. There is a tow hitch at the rear with an RV connector. I would also rate the interior of this Ram as ABOVE AVERAGE for the age and miles. It's obvious that the previous owner took excellent care of this truck. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show very well, too. The seats are in good condition and show no harsh wear or stains. The center arm rest is huge. Behind the seats in the roomy cabin, there are organizer bins and plenty of room to keep your stuff. Being an SLT, this is a nicely equipped truck. The power windows, locks and mirrors work properly. The climate control system appears to also be working well. The stereo system is the original unit from Dodge and still sounds good. The rear window slides, too. Mechanically, this Ram appears to be in good running condition. The optional 5.2L Magnum V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. The engine does not smoke and I did not see any leaks. Out on the road, the suspension feels tight and the brakes do a good job of stopping this truck. The steering has a little play in it. I would suggest replacing the front link bar. The bushings tend to wear out which can make the front end feel sloppy over time. The last one I did set me back $90 for the part and an hour of labor. Out on the highway, she cruises nice and easily. The engine makes great power. The transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. The 4WD system is tested and working properly. I've actually used this truck to tow quite a bit since I've had it. It tows very well for a half ton truck. The engine has good power and the trans is rock solid...even pulling 6,000 lbs... The engine keeps perfect temperature (even while towing) and the oil pressure is perfect. Here is an opportunity to own a nice, solid older pick-up truck...just in time for snow.
