For auction is a 1957 MG Magnette ZB Varitone A nice Straight RUST FREE California car with clear California title. An MG Magnette is a fairly rare car in North America, I think only 500 where shipped to the US in the 1950's. I Bought this car a couple of years ago with the intentions of restoring it. The car was in the Mojave desert most of its life and is surprisingly rust free. Floors, sills, jackpoints are all SOLID. We've decided to thin out our collection due to space limitation. Have been gathering parts for a couple of years. I bought the car without a rear axle, which I have now aquired and will fit it into the car upon delivery. Comes with a used nice grille (not pictured) that I bought from Shortens in the UK. The only thing missing is the right rear wing molding and the left front wing molding which Shorten has used, Only one small spot of rust on each door, see photos. The interior is rough. I have two sets of seats. The wood: the top of the dashboard is restorable as well as most of the side moldings for the interior. Have acquired the correct Varitone steering wheel with the hard to find Magnette center motif and center clock bezel which is in the parts car. Carburators are in a box in the trunk as well as many other parts. And you get another parts car with it for free (not pictured). This is a nice easy restoration project that won't cost $4000 in sheet metal alone. Comes with parts, extra parts car, and has a 1500 engine in it now, extra wheels, the license plate light on trunk (very, very rare item comes with it, this is why we bought the parts car...) I will deliver the good car only within a 200 mile radious from the Jersey Shore (NJ) after FULL PAYMENT has been received.
